How can we make the elderly and disabled folks lives worse this week?
We might get back the racist vote back if we up our kill rate!
Great! Lets call it 'change' and if anyone asks later we changed people from being alive to dead.
😡 So the current direction from Blue Labour is apparently: "We don't need foreign workers, because we're making disabled people and others on benefits do those jobs." ... It's a move worthy of Iain Duncan Smith and his idiotic mindset – and it's destined to fail!

The thing that gets me, here, is that the one immigrant community they won't mention, and the one causing the most damage right now, is the importing of evangelical religious groups into the UK from abroad who then spread hate and fleece people of their earnings. No mention of that.
I'm pro-immigration, overall, but what we are seeing is not just immigration issues here, it's class warfare. Why aren't we kicking out wealth groups determined to divide us and turn us into a hellhole? Why only hard-working people doing us a favour by filling these jobs?
Community care is already heavily provided by the private sector grabbing clients off lists issued of people that can't be covered
The problem is there aren't enough people willing to wipe behinds, dress and spoonfeed people for a living with split shifts around mealtimes & crap pay
In that case, expect her to argue that British people should be incentivised to take these jobs, and should be sanctioned if they are able yet unwilling to do so.
So, as predicted, Labour react to the loss of voters to the Lib Dems and Greens by pushing policies which will alienate even more progressives in an attempt to placate Nigel Party supporters.
Well done folks, you're well on the way to being a single-term government.
Now all the unemployed Reform voters who claimed that foreigners were taking the jobs will have full employment earning the same shit wages that foreign workers get paid.
Would you like to be cared for in your old age by a Reform worker with an attitude who is only working as a carer because they were effectively forced to do it?
I wouldn't but this is the option people have chosen by voting for a right wing labour govt and constantly bitching about foreigners. Right wing media encourage the myth that all immigration is harmful and that all foreigners are looking for a free ride..
Yeah, let's find the people with the lowest demonstrable amounts of empathy and force them to become careworkers doesn't have an encouraging sound to it.
I used to respect Yvette Cooper but what is she trying to do, wreck the economy? They are so scared of Reform that they feel they must adopt populist policies to appear more like Reform. And thus alienate everyone else while still not being Reform. Lose Lose.
don’t say that. you wouldn’t want to scare people away now, would you? you wouldn’t want Refoooorm to get in, would you? no no, stick with us, even though we’re doing exactly what reform wants to do. because we’re red, not light blue. and certainly not blue or yellow either
I don’t know what has got into the heads of many of the people of England, as It now seems almost inevitable that England will vote in a Far-Right extremist government.
England is no longer politically compatible with Cymru, North of Ireland & Scotland.
The US experience tells us a whole load of Labour voters will vote for them next time and use the 'least worst' excuse, which of course is a load of cowardly shite. They will usher in fascism and blame the anti-fascists.
We're sort of past the 'dystopian fiction as warning' stage now, aren't we? I think we can lay claim to living in humanity's dumbest phase, with all the information in the world at our fingertips and heading towards fascism and preventable destruction of our only habitat. Fucking idiots.
No we’d prefer a Lab Govt that actually addressed the core issues of day, ageing pop, a housing mkt that’s a racket, loss of access to biggest market in our doorstep, expensive energy, expensive privatised water, expensive transport - all direct results of decades of shit right-leaning governments!
Just to be clear, because you've dodged my question expertly, does that mean you're willing to accept Labour taking steps to prevent votes hemorrhaging to the "Faragzis"?
I’ve not dodged it, I’ve said what needs to be done, and it ain’t appeasement from a bunch of well-heeled, in-with-the-bricks, Starmer-but-not-Labour apparatchiks .
Labour voters aren't being lost to Reform. It's Tory voters who have gone to Reform. Labour voters are going to the Greens and Lib Dems or just staying at home, because they don't want to vote for a Labour party that copies fascists.
You seem to have forgotten the Conservative-who-voted-Labour-for-the-first-time-in-their-lives-in-2024-because-of-how-out-of-touch-and-incompetent-the-Tory-government-was voters, who are exactly the type of voter who Reform will try to woo over.
They voted Labour instead of Reform in 2024 though, so copying Reform policies isn't necessary for Labour to win their votes. And there's a lot more people who will stop voting Labour as Labour moves further rightwards.
In a few years time England will deliver a fascist Reform uk Government
The people of Scotland, Cymru & North of Ireland need to wake up to what’s coming, as the authoritarian Reform regime will use Trumpian “powers” to immediately end Devolution, and enforce a full, and brutal, London control

The local election results showed the Tory vote going down by the same amount the Reform vote went up, but Labour leadership seems determined to piss off Labour's actual voter base by pretending that it's only Tory/Reform voters that matter and bending over backwards to do whatever Farage demands
First: the last time these particular councils were contested, Boris Johnson was popular.
Second: there are many voters who went from Tory to Labour at the GE just because of extreme Tory dissatisfaction. If those voters become equally dissatisfied with Labour...
Sadly for the entire UK in the space of a few months.
#MyDadWasAToolmaker #flipflop #U-turnMan #keir_starmer has turned #ToryShiteLiebour into a #toxic #xenophobic party following in the footsteps of the #FarRight agenda of the #Tories & #Reform. Seriously is it any wonder, the UK is fucked 🤔
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA STOP FUCKING GOING RIGHTWARDS YOU FUCKING MORONIC CUNTS YOU'RE GONNA LOSE THE NEXT ELECTIONS WITH SUCH A HIGH MAJORITY IT'LL DESTROY THE COUNTRY FOR THE LOVE OF FUCKING GOD PLEASE STOP BEING STUPID
Labour MPs can vote against their continuation of austerity or they can vote with Starmer, the pound shop Farage, and guarantee extinction at the next election.
If the government is going to do this, it needs to provide free training for new workers, to cover the shortfall, and incentives for similarly trained workers to take up fast-tracked upskill traineeships. The UK has no shortage of people.
Performative cruelty in pursuit of a fictional voting constituency who will never, ever vote Labour.
The real losers are the senior citizens who will be trapped in under-staffed care homes, and working-class Britons (mostly women) who will be expected to plug the yawning care gap.
Do we have the care workers domestically? Labour reacting instead of planning. @teamlabouruk.bsky.social you do get the way to be extremism is to make people better off, improve services, etc. Make people matter. That’ll win you the election. Not trying to out Farage, Farage. The Toad wins every time
And where are the replacements to come from? These jobs are not well paid, that is why these visas are granted in first place. Fine if Lab’s increasing wages, & increasing respect & value given to care work - but I suspect neither of these things are planned! Or even doing right by WASPI women!

Will the government have to get even more help from the PRIVATE SECTOR??
I am perhaps a little cynical about this...
The problem is there aren't enough people willing to wipe behinds, dress and spoonfeed people for a living with split shifts around mealtimes & crap pay
Well done folks, you're well on the way to being a single-term government.
Beautiful.
Labour have turned out to be nothing more than brutal Red Tories.

Also Labour has been doing exactly what Reform wants to do. Don’t act like im wrong on this, look at most of their actions this past year

That's how a "swing voter" works.

Notice how they didn't announce a crackdown on evangelical churches coming from abroad, btw.
There is a reason that this sector needs to import them.
This country literally replaced Tories with more Tories.
