People want to think that trauma -- being fired from their job, losing medicaid, whatever -- will "force people to face reality," but that's not how people work. When people face trauma they turn to voices they trust to tell them who's doing it, and why, and what it means.

There are no billionaires that will do it (we’ve tried).
There isn’t one single major news outlet covering climate, poverty & money in Gov.
Any suggestions?

I get the fog of war, but when SSA payments stop, when people can't go to the doctor, when they can't afford living, they'll notice.
It’s a lot more then just a few thousand people in 3 swing states
And we need to dumb-down that to 3-word messages for them to understand.
Also: SOTU response is a good opportunity for free national media & clip-sharing. Put some real people -- fired govt workers -- front & center (and ffs keep Schumer and Jeffries away from the mics).
Started putting it in a blog recently.

(More on the 🤪 Carville Doctrine, sorry.)
I don't know how you showed up in my feed, but your takes are very very accurate. Not like average thoughts of westerners. It's like you've lived in a dictatorship. Bravo. And yes, this is how it works.
