I remember there was some guy who quite his tech job to try and grow vanilla in a controlled climate environment. Turns out it takes like 2 years to get one vanilla pod and they have to be hand pollinated, which you only get one chance at during a 24 hour window
actually huh, rereading it you don't say from seed, you talk about pollinating them to get the pods to make chocolate... still wondering if you use clones though!
I love your reflection on (and of) curiosity . . . as I've aged I've come to believe that whatever one's aptitudes, curiosity is the highest form of intelligence, and the root and driver of all others. Much respect 🙏✌️
Until right this moment I knew nothing of you; however, you are working to perpetuate the existence of chocolate.
Not all heroes wear capes, sir; you now rank among mine, alongside, Newton, Oppenheimer, Turing, Hawking and that anonymous coder who put an MP3 player on my phone...
My dad who is pretty illiterate when it comes to video game stuff once said to me how he was following a video game exec who bakes bread and I knew exactly who he was talking about.

I only know you as the chocolate and yeast guy I'm so sorry 😭
What else aren't you guys telling me 😳🤔🤣
I've watched you making chocolate, but any of my friends can tell you that I'm very much not a Gamer.
I'm not AGAINST Gaming, mind you. I just have barely played with anything beyond an N64. Oh, and a little bit of Wii Sports. 😂🖖🏾

I was wondering, in the original thread you were growing them from seed - in switching to scale, are you gonna clone them?

Those are the rules.
Good to see you, Seamus!

And/Or
be extremely rude to billionaires and especially their children
Though doing both seems super approachable (and topical!) in 2025
You inspired him to start baking bread haha
