We're going to do The Gilded Age again except this time with AI and facial recognition software that automatically orders a drone strike on your location if you say the word Union to a coworker

Fascism is fascism, regardless of whether it grows out of capitalism or communism… and it grows from both. But, yes, I’ve watched it for my entire life, so it’s getting old.
*expect this time with brain chips which instant kill you if you think of the word union (and which often instant kill people for no reason due to malfunctions)
It’s The Game but instead of the game it’s class consciousness and every time you lose, an incel emails your social security number to a local pack of rapid Boston dynamic dogs
What does it say when I imagined this scenario, and people breaking into certain politicians/ rich people's property and shouting "Union ,Union, Union!"
Also without any soft power. Only drones, pouring endlessly out to be destroyed by Chinese and Iranian drone-killers. The death rattle of the American Empire
I do think the Gilded Age is a truer metaphor than Germany in the 30s. The rich are consolidating their power and getting wealthier by the moment and the rest of us are left to our own devices.

Drone striking fascists is good. All unions are filled to the brim with fascists.
