I did the same. Some were even saying thank you bluesky you gave us a new home. Some say, we will create a red wave in here. Some laughs because we let them into our lists. From now on I will research thoroughly and thank you to all who let us know.

I found a long list of MAGA supporters earlier. I couldn’t figure out how to block them all at once but I spent a long time blocking as many as possible. The language on many of them was disgusting.

Yes, click on the link to open the list, in the upper right corner is a subscribe box, click that and a drop down gives you the choice to block or mute. It is added to, and will block all new additions.

Zero followers may mean nothing at first. People have taken off quickly and landed hot. My first instinct was to follow my favorites not to seek followers. By contrast, bots and trolls instantly follow each other.

They have list made up with “Maga” and other list that you can block with one swipe. Look in the search menu for “Maga block list” that should get you started. You hit the subscribe button and it blocks many, many of them. There are others as well.
Wow! Had no idea! I’ll have to take a look at the lists I’ve subscribed to. I do know when I originally subscribed, the few I looked at were definitely Maga though. But you are right, we need to double check. Thanks for the info.
The other thing is, the lists can automatically update, so a “pure” list can become adulterated with names we might not want to block. I just found a list with a Dem on it.

There is a fake Gwen Walz page, blocked and reported it!! Plus when I first got on BSKY the first follower I had was a fake account supposedly by one of Musk's son's. The kid thanked me for being a supporter of his Dad. I never used Twitter/X in my life. But I forgot to report the account.
We need to keep the maga trolls out of here. But at least for now I've relaxed my vetting of newcomers, bluesky is getting a million new accounts a day and lots of those are fleeing that other place

Yes, I started to block quite a few too. So many, I decided to start my own moderation list yesterday, though I did not separate like some of these other detailed lists; spammers, trolls, maga and nazis are all on one list for me.
I have two followers , I just signed up, and I don't know any other person on blue sky .I am not seeking attention and I am not a bot . I have Major Ojeda following me as well as cliff please don't block me .
