We recently downsized, renovated a home where there was no gas on the street, hello induction cook top (fabulous by the way), electric kitchen. Within a week, we noticed that there was no "smell" from the pilots on a gas stove. Good riddance.

That's messed up. Because I had carbon monoxide poisoning I became more susceptible to it. So when I was using our gas stove I would have seizures when I would cook. We have an electric stove now. It was scary.
