I interrupt normally scheduled broadcasts to say,
hey,
you,
yes
you reading this,
do you have a public library card?
If not, I am not angry with you but I am disappointed, let’s agree to make a plan to change that, I promise you will not be disappointed.

We're the big 🔵 in the 🏜️.

(We check out a LOT of books.)
I hope that the realization of public library access to your community is coming soon!

Question for anyone. How many chapters to I have to give a book capture me? I usually like this author but this one is meh. 9 chapters in and about to return it and try one of the other 200 on my wishlist.
Is this standard?
SAVE OUR LIBRARY
This in a tiny town library beloved by everyone in the community since 1978. Originally built as a one room schoolhouse in 1915.
I buy the books I want to read.
I'll pass on the Drag Time Story Hour and progressive book selections.
Research help? LOL what an antiquated notion. AI runs circles around some librarian with a 4 year uni degree filled with intersectionalism studies.
AI is a tool and will not replace librarians though may free up some frequently asked questions.
Please seek research help. :)
I don't pander to the mentally ill nor the deviants.
There is no dissonance on my part.
I'm quite able to conduct my own research.
:)
AI is only as good as what you put into it. Garbage in, garbage out.
Librarians know how to ask questions to narrow down a search, filter results for accuracy and reliability, and get you the sources you actually need.
Your library is more than just a place to check out books.
How long is your library going to be there?
... (I just move around a lot)
Currently waiting on notification that a book I am waitlisted for is ready to be sent to my branch library tho.
Some of my fondest childhood memories are going to the big library downtown and spending an hour or two there!
