accounts could have some icons representing earned community statuses like: paid member, donator, earned member (work on security, verification etc.)
scientist, members should be able to evaluate some statuses
this could introduce some value based ratings
on security: create interface to review blocked/banned acct
and bsky members can collect points on issue (number, accuracy ,..) compare 5+ different evals and you have issue solved.
You will be surprised what would people do for acknowledgment for their contribution give them A JOB
Individuals can do a lot of moderation on their own. Make Block a single-click option, and possibly do the same for Report, then have moderators IP block the baddies reported.
This is the nature of the social media beast.

They only had 20 folks tirelessly dealing with an explosion of folks showing up here out of nowhere one day.
They had to hire more folks eventually.
They've had the ML trust factor algorithm, but to truly eliminate that stuff you need HUMAN moderation.
They are moderating theirs.
i just think at times it can be good to have help from the creators/ moderators of the app because at times it can be hard to do things by yourself. if you understand what i am trying to say.
