I would like to see a study on it but I think if you went to $1 billion limit that is a $6 billion dump into the US treasury which is just enormous. Even 1/2 is is enough to fix so many problems which in turn would be so wealth creating for the lower classes.

I'm sticking firm. No one needs over a billion. OR... tie a maximum income/wealth to the lowest income/wealth. A respectable income is around $100K, but for grins, let's say that a maximum wealth can be 1000% of $500K. That's still only $5M.

I’m a former meta employee. I resigned in 2021 because I could no longer be complicit in harm at scale. But just being able to admit that I was part of something evil was a very difficult truth to accept. Lots of therapy and a bumpy career since. I have a lot of compassion for how hard it is.
