I care far more about those nameless deaths than the CEO who set the policy.
Insurance companies should be able to weed out fraud, but it seems clear that they have gone well outside the bounds of propriety. Hence the reactions we are seeing to this murder.

I never said he was a good person and I never said it was a good company. They aren’t.
But - making somebody a martyr is historically a bad move. His death isn’t gonna bring change.
It’s going to bring entrenchment.
It will be used to show that the federal government has to take steps to protect the privacy and identification of corporate executives.
It’s fun to fantasize about an immoral person getting their comeuppance, but recent events in the US have shown this to be increasingly unlikely.
