It's been freezing for weeks, the mountaintops are white and frost covers the streets.
December has come, the first month of true high winter.
(I'm Icelandic, spring and autumn don't exist here. The real seasons are early winter, high winter, late winter, and summer.)
WINTER STARTED ON SAMHAIN
And please turn off your caps lock, it makes me nervous
*whispers gently*
Winter started in Ireland on 1st November and ends on St. Brigid’s Day/ Imbolc on 1st February. Irish Christmas runs from the 25th December to the 6th January, the Epiphany, Little Christmas, or Nollaig na mBan. BUT EVERYONE DO IT YOUR OWN WAY! ☘️🎄❄️🍷🍷
(I have no opinions about when Christmas starts)
Seasons are determined meteorologically.
Etc.
