You started out too hard. That pain is caused by muscle stress. Next day after a workout you should do a light workout that stretches muscles and removes that built-up lactic acid that causes that pain.
I did start out slow and micro tears in the muscle are the primary cause of the pain, not lactic acid. But thank you for your incorrect assumption about my exercise routine and the unsolicited advice
Right? Also “you started out too hard.” Nowhere did I say how I started. It could have been a walk around the block for all he knows- he knows nothing about my physical condition or limitations. So he’s either stalking me or just wants to tell me I’m doing it wrong for some reason.
