Jet Lag: The Game (Nebula, also free on YouTube) and Taskmaster (C4). Both trivial challenges taken v seriously. Jet Lag is travel-centric, TM is structured as a comedy panel show.
I’m enjoying The Agency. Partly because I lived in The Barbican area in London about 40 years ago and it has lots of scenes filmed in that area, but mainly because it’s very well done. Takes two episodes to get hooked.
I’ve lived in California for 20-odd years and know what it’s like to live in a hot climate. Everyone in a hot climate wants a cool dark house but everyone on A Place In The Sun wants giant sunny windows.
History programmes on BBC iPlayer - Olusoga history told through houses (Berlin/London particularly good). Also Lucy Worsley investigates. Gives you some perspective..
Just finished 'Video Nasty' on the beeb - nicely distracting, 80s nostalgia, not too serious, but not a comedy, and quite a warm 'buddy' slice, if the first 2 episodes aren't the best of the 6.
Man on the Inside is v distracting & surprisingly moving. What genres do you like? Also recently binge-watched Little Drummer Girl on iPlayer if you want meaty drama.
