I've been boycotting walmart since 2014. Amazon since 2021. Have never eaten Chick Fil A. Haven't eaten MCDs since around 2008. I am the freak with a list on the fridge of businesses my family isn't allowed to give $ to. I basically only shop at Wegmans, Costco, and Walgreens atp.
Wanna mess with Walmart? Add 99+ high-ticket items ($100K+) to your cart, open 10+ tabs, then LEAVE. No checkout. This floods their system, wrecks inventory, burns ad $$, tanks conversion rates & shakes investor confidence. Do it daily. Hit ‘em where it hurts.
So what's next? Medicines from certain manufacturers that didn't donate a $ billion to Trump won't be delivered? No nail delivered to or from blue states? What?

Amazon has their own Temu called Haul now. I just pulled it up and clicked on the first product- seller page says it’s a Chinese company. Same for the next few I checked. Hope this creates some schisms.
Ding, ding, ding! You can get the same products from TEMU but at a better $ than Amazon. When the whole TikTok thing was announced I wondered how long til they go after TEMU since it allows people to bypass Amazon which gets much of its stuff from China.
And most of those resellers are not big time. Not to mention how the coming March revised seller guidelines actually relieves Amazon in NOT paying nor losing any costs in case the items are lost in the delivery process.

I'd like to source that. There >was< a deminimus exemption of $800 per package but that was rescinded under the new 10% tariff, like immediately. Possibly affects 3 MIL packgs a DAY fr China. Seems imposs to do anything like that immed, but this WH doesn't care if something is possible or not!!
Sorry, I do not recall Recall where I saw that about the USPS continuing deliveries. Yes I know that exemption you mention was why they were going to stop them. It’s ridiculous because they would spend way more money trying to enforce that exemption than they would possibly get from it.
The usps has a contract with Amazon to deliver the last leg In the in the delivery process. That won't be affected. But there are many direct retailers that will have to us Fed Ex and UPS. A small inconvenience, actually.

To be fair, China has been running a parcel scam for year. Subsidize mail order shippers and then dump in Canada, US etc. where their post offices need to deliver them. For free!
This doesn't affect Walmart. They get their merchandise from China via cargo ships, not the USPS. Amazon FBA, aka Prime, allows Chinese factories to use their cargo ships to send merchandise directly to Amazon warehouses. It will affect Temu and Shein, though.

Bezos uses the USPS as do other shipping companies, typically for the last leg of a package delivery from a distribution center to the final destination.
Temu uses other shippers than USPS, including Amazon and UPS. So, they're not paralyzed by this.
