FG&N (For Grins and Giggles) try winking at her with both eyes, slowly, some time. You might need a bit of practice to get the timing right.
A cat will wink at you when they feel comfortable in your presence. It's a sign that they trust you, that they're loyal to you.
/Just so you know, cats slit their eyes or slow blink at you to indicate that they trust you and feel safe around you! It's literally "I, a predator, trust you enough to let my guard down and not watch you constantly". She is showing she loves you!
Everything you say is true and very cute, BTW. But one of my best friends growing up had a pet tarantula, and even though I never really fell in 😘 with the arachnids (sorry guys), they impressed me enough for me to realize that tarantulas will never have any trouble giving anyone the side eye. 🕷️
