The stock today is responding to CA approving Tesla for the next step in launching their robotaxi service. There are still several hurdles but they cleared the first one. There may also be some residual goodwill after SpaceX’s success yesterday. Investors are aslo waiting for the Q1 earnings report

It's a pretty generic cycle. You see a spike Monday as all the weekend orders are filled, then it slows through Wednesday, then picks up again as people see lower prices and think they are getting a deal. Same with dailies. Noon is around the low point of the day.

Elon leveraged a lot of TSLA stock for his other companies. He used a lot to buy Twitter. If TSLA is affected it will affect his other businesses. SpaceX is gov funded. They shld be excluded from further contracts until Elon stops working with the admin.
