For me, that door is the inauguration. It will be a travesty! Interestingly, the word "inaugurate" has its roots in divining good omens. Inauguration cannot take place unless the omens of the "auger", a diviner of godly intent from bird flight, are favorable. Heard any good omens lately?

Hey, it had some pretty amazing moments, and that was definitely the best! Iconic! Totally rocked it!!! It almost made the whole disillusionment and schizoid character repurposing worth it. Honestly, even though Luke's story suffered, it was perhaps Mark's best work on screen.
I somewhat disagree but that’s besides the point. I remember Mark Hamil has numerously stated that he hated the movie and how Luke was treated. So I found it weird he used a gif from the movie
I have to admit, there is just not one redeeming feature about the man. Even Hitler was an artist at one point. A bad one, but still… This man’s entire life is a farce.

You are not alone, Dakota. I keep busy with my job, but I have times when something pops up on the news, I get nervous & anxious for a brief period. When the Felon said he would ban the "transgender lunacy". I'm not transgender by I worry about their freedom and everyone's freedoms.
Love your family, take care of your neighbors, resolve to be more patient, more caring, more forgiving, and more tenacious.

Agreed! Tim Snyder is also a great source for ideas about freedom. Not only freedom from tyranny, and freedom to resist tyranny, but freedom to be and do. Freedom to associate and assemble. Freedom to thrive. Freedom to create and inhabit more freedom. Freedom to be unpredictable. Freedom to laugh.
He’s a jinx. Last time he was in office we had a pandemic. Here we go into 2025 with the Bird Flu. People already know if it turns into a pandemic,we can’t trust him to help us. We can’t trust him for anything. We’re on our own with whatever he leaves us with. We are entering an age of uncertainty.
The best part of growing up with you being a part of my childhood is seeing you being a good dude and not one of these weirdos with allegations and shady pasts. You rock Mark, thank you.

I don't think you need to ask. Mark's a mensch. He's always humbly curated the character of Luke for his fans, and he has been so kind. My only worry for him is the same as for all of us; keeping spirits up these days could be difficult. Demoralization can be fought with humor. Let's try. ;-)
