Perhaps it's liberation in the form of the three doors
So emptiness as in there's no food in the fridge.
Signlessness as in the food is gone and now there's an empty space.
And aimlessness, as in wandering around looking for something to eat.
Right 😒. Trump the guys who has gold plated stair cases, etc. would have the Buddhist interpretation of freedom from material things. His cult will do anything to try and justify the Orange guys crazy and stupid behavior.
Agreed, @georgetakei.bsky.social. A Buddhist strategy would never include spreading such deliberate suffering, nor would it be so impulsively mindless.
Oh, so now the MAGA cultists are suddenly all for the "Material possessions and wealth are unimportant" philosophy after laughing at it and at us for decades and even calling it "communist", "woke" and more? I'm not going to forget this one.
I don't really have a feel like for religion being the person I am I reject everything about this man Donald Trump he's void of logic he is void on anything that makes him irrational human being
Cutting essential programs is a literal death sentence to millions of Americans. He’s liberating us from our lives & money for his own narcissistic pathological greed. Extreme stupidity coupled with extreme hubris/arrogance.
I think the only ones who feel liberated are the ultra wealthy and oligarchs. I am sure Putin feels good about Trump tariffs, as Russia isn't or is barely included in them.
Not even the dumbest Tantra-practicing idiot on the planet would go off the rails like that. When compassionless orange-heads babble about things they have no clue about. 🙄
Parading the heads and livers of oppressors on sticks through the streets doesn’t seem very Buddhist, but I feel like that is what the Universe wants for me and where I need to be right now.
Perhaps it means Liberation in the sense of people liberating all their pent-up anger and frustration at this regime and turning that emotional energy into passionate activism?
He would have to be a Yen Buddhist (a sect invented by humorous novelist Terry Pratchett. They seek to acquire all the money so that it doesn’t contaminate the souls of others.)
You have to have compassion for living beings too... and you know what? liberating yourself from material possessions but being a cruel fuck is still being a cruel fuck. So no, he's a terrible human and if he were trying to be Buddhist he's also terrible at it.
My bet: He is pushing towards economic disaster so he can use his powers to grab complete control and use the military against dissent. He sold his stock prior to the stock market crash. He knew what would happen. Insider trading is illegal and not part of the president’s job. No immunity.
Yes, it's too good for him too. Maggots turn into flies and they have a nice time flying around.
Maybe something like a leech would be more fitting? Crawling round a dirty puddle his whole next life
I'm struggling to find any life form or anything on this amazing planet that I consider lower than that thing. Disease? No, he's already that.
He's evil incarnate.
Along with many other precepts, e.g., being always truthful, helping people in need, helping those less fortunate than us, loving unconditionally ALL people regardless of ethnicity and/or orientation, being kind, one's speech should always be positive and/or edifying, being moral, and many more.
As a non-Buddhist, I kinda do endorse it.
As a young man, returning home from the Peace Corps, I lost all my stuff (ex Passport and Clothes on my back). Clothes, photos, notes, treasures I had saved, money, everything.
When I landed in JFK, I felt like, "Well, now I have to start from scratch."
If your separation from material concerns and desire, it could be good. Being forced apart from material possessions, especially from those vital for survival, by someone else is criminal, inhumane and evil.

Then hand them out amongst the poor, then they can all go and live in Trump Tower and Mar A Lago etc.
That would be poetic justice.
I reject Trump as a sentient being.
I needed that laugh
"Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose"
