My beloved Charleston crossed the π bridge almost a year ago. Miss him dearly π. Decided against another since pretty much all of family allergic. But given how family's been acting lately, seriously reconsidering π€ππ.
A woman living alone with a bunch of cats is a life goal!

I agree. Cats are smart and communicate very well. While I am cat free right now I have had as many as 14 at a time. I lived on a Tennessee farm. It was a kitty and puppy dump.
Cats are wayyyyy more intelligent than people think. If they truly donβt like a human thereβs a reason. They are protective of their people too. My girl puts hubby and I to bed every night and then she goes to bed. Our fur babies are the best.
My sentiments too. I have neighbours who turned to trumpism and I've told them that I can't help them working on their roofs any more, because only one of us is going to be going down on the ladder and I won't help them if they have an accidental fall.
I don't know what happened to me, I was always a fully doodle, poodle x terrier person and then one day I rescued this little old chihuahua guy and...it was all over for the fluffies.
People told me no one would date me with all my dogs cause I was a crazy cat lady only with dogs lol (I guess itβs not thing to be a crazy dog lady?) I have four dogs and a man btwβ¦working on the cats part! (Allergic)
No it would be an honor! My fur kids are indescribably precious to me and to my husband (although he wouldnβt say it this way, his interactions show it
I just never found the right partner, and I'm not going fir second best.
My cats chose me (all ex- ferals / strays), never planned to have that many (8+2 outside), but here we are π€·π»ββοΈ
Indeed. Divorced 22 years ago and with work and family commitments keeping me in Texas, I decided then never again. First dogs, now cats and I have peace with that.
I've been MUCH better off w/o a mate, spouse, live-in, whatever for over 38 years. My cats snuggle, don't step out on me, or eat me out of house & home or give me sh*t. I think I'm A-OKAY.
The people who get told that the most have been married for decades and have kids, a dog, and a cat. They're just out there making empty promises to cats.
All those who say that clearly have never been or worked at a retirement home or hospice...countless amount of folks w/a child or more DIE alone or only surrounded by nurses..for one reason or another having children or 'family' doesn't guarantee companionship in life & certainly not on our deathbed
I'm waiting on this little rescue to come to me. Presently he is being bottle fed by my daughter who belongs to a cat rescue group. I should have him by middle of April. π
This is the 1st bottle fed cat that my daughter rescued. She is 18 years old now and the new baby a couple of weeks. Funny that they are both black. π₯°

Definitely not a very intelligent insult either, since cats get the concept of revenge.

I'm quite happy π
I'm fond of my wife
too, she knows
her cats well.
Perhaps men should smile more.
Me : (tears of joy welling up) "You ...you ..promise??''
Very glad to follow you, and wishing you all the luck. Take care, Robert
Happy #Caturday!π

DON'T FUCK WITH #CATPEOPLE
I can't think of anything better!
Me: I'm good with that.
Just a terrible time lol
Exactly.
As for you running the country - you would do a good job because you have to be organised when looking after a pet.
Someone once said to me "Unlike kids cats don't demand Β£200 trainers (in UK so Β£).
