They didn't fire any aircrewmen, and they were moving the aircraft to where it would BE tied down. I'm with you on the DEI, but this was an accident and due to incoming fire, so I think I'll cut the Navy (where I spent 20 years) some slack.
In an alternate reality I would very much prefer to be real, they are not losing them overboard so much as intentionally “losing” them off the books in order to covertly gift them to Ukraine
the headline is phrased in a confusing way, but I think it's the same loss as the previous article's describing (the second overboard; the third total including the friendly fire incident)
Now, I may not know a lot about weapons procurement, or cybernetic insect biology, but perhaps they just like spawn in the Red Sea and this is how you get some more baby super-hornets?
I have so many theories going through my head. Were they shot down? Were they sold? We're they even there in the first place? Because who could just lose 2 planes in a week? Wouldn't the entire ship be tightly puckered after the 1st loss? Like, how does it happen a 2nd time??? Impossible!
Hey, it was God's will that it happened! Only woke commie Jesus haters try and prevent God's plan by tying mobile objects down on a moving deck/applying health and safety best practice/immunising against potential disease risks/etc!
They were "dual role" fighter/attack aircraft who had to "self separate" from US Navy because of the "trans ban". F/A-18's told they would be forced to accept their role assigned at their time of manufacture.
If we accept the truism that POC have to be twice as good as white ppl to advance to the same level, it seems like it would follow that getting rid of POC would disproportionately reduce the overall skill level.
In the span of a month the Truman has collided with a freighter (resulting in the skipper being relieved) and lost two planes overboard, and I think that reflects directly on Secretary Kegbreath extending their tour not once but twice. They've been in action since December, they're exhausted.
This is why they intend on upping the military budget, because they knew they will be throwing away aircraft like tissue paper just willy-nilly having disposable aircraft’s that American taxpayers fund. Maybe it can come out of the innovation portion of the military budget🤷🏽♀️
And speaking of our military…just a reminder to SCOTUS: below are pictured our Commander in Chief with “America’s Mayor” and our armed forces’ #2 in command:
Ya hate to say it, but it does seem to illustrate that removing DEI doesn't mean the replacements are as skilled. Replacing them did not make anything demonstrably better.
Hopefully, no one was injured. Still, over $100 million in the drink -and not in combat.
My children are suffering from severe hunger — no food, no water. We go days without anything to eat. Your kind support could save innocent lives. If you're able, please donate even $20. Every bit of help makes a big difference. May God bless you
All this chaos is purposeful. They're trying to put fear in all of us. You have to make a nation desperate with fear to consolidate power. It's how they eventually get everyone out in the streets and declare martial law. It's also how they'll privatize everything, declaring government incompetent
It's like real world lesson after lesson of the *reality* that a huge part of DEI is literally to solve the problem of incompetents running things and keeping each other in charge!
The Truman has been a catastrophe of stupid shit in the past year, or even six months, but at least this one is an actual documented issue (arresting gear failure) that can be followed up on rather than. Whatever the fuck happened last time.

Anyone check Heg’s account for F-18s he’s trying to sell? Or his wife’s?
Oh…..
THAT’s where he is!
Of course in protest as they read the latest Trump posts.

🤣
Kegbreath doesnt strike me as someone who'd ask first then act on that advice
The US Marines would routinely extend tours
A Carrier Strike Group isn't a marine battalion
They are secretly selling them for cash $

Full disclosure: I'm current DEI though I haven't helped chock & chain a Hornet in 29 years. Cant imagine it's changed much.
And tariffs.
And supply chains.
And soft power.
And military alliances.
And borders.
And due process.
And basic human decency.
