Like this isn't a matter of life and death
It's a movie review
People are allowed to like or not like stuff ffs
like, yeah, the movie has a conservative bent, but i legitimately thought its reactionary defense force tuckered itself out when Stranger Things Ghostbusters flopped
Second, I can tell this is about Ghostbusters, and while I disagree with a lot of your reviews (and even like watching Ghostbusters occasionally!) GB might be the most overrated classic 80's movie, especially looking at its bizarre revival.
But yeah Ghostbusters feels like one of the few properties that should be "legacy"-able, and yet,
REAL Ghostbusters is what everyone wants to adapt. The deeper, more serious take.
With Garfield voicing Bill Murray’s role for some reason.
It’s weirder that Sony did this two more times. First redoing Ghostbusters with EXTREME Ghostbusters, then with Men in Black: The Series.
It reminds me of Jurassic World Dominion (which I LOVED because I can't hate that series, I'm too Dinosaur-pilled). Like, Sattler, Grant, and Malcom are just... people? Not superheroes with legacy names? And yet, they're treated like that? Absolutely bizarre.
And I mean, I LIKE the movie, I might go so far as to say I love it, but it's not perfect (and a lot of what I love about it is done better in the cartoon).
That said, Ernie Hudson is one of my ♥️ actors.
That shit translated into the extended media that blossomed
That guy is REALLY still going, I assumed this was from a couple days ago my bad lmao

Oh now I understand why the egotistical 'break-everything'techbro nerdcrowd loves it so much.
It's not *great,* by any means. But it is the best movie Timbo made.
Ghostbusters’ inclusion on like, greatest films of all time lists is not down to pacing or writing or the quality of the jokes.
But (having read the thread) the comics and cartoon might be what made me love the world the most.

this is kinda some toxic twitter shit. y’all had a disagreement about a movie and ur using ur platform to put ‘em on blast. lammme
"This movie is Libertarian propaganda" is a criticism probably older than he is.
