The Roasted Garlic and Roasted Onion ones are huge flavor boosters to everything and anything - mashed potatoes and rice especially. The garlic one also makes amazing garlic bread. Melt it into some butter and then spread on bread before toasting. Chef's kiss!
truly. i got my friend with a costco membership to run me 3 of the mega jars of the vegetable better than bouillon last time we hung out. all of the veg ones are head and shoulders better than any other alternative on the market. (also! veg ones, plural??? what a time to be a cook.)
Seriously! And it takes up so much less space than canned, and you can adjust the intensity too. At this point I’ve ditched canned entirely; it’s either homemade freezer stash or BTB for me
I made some beef stew, gave some to my cat; she tried to cover it up like the 💩in her litter box!🙁 So the next time I bought a better cut of beef and tried Better Than Boullion and it was so good! My refrigerator is always stocked with it now.
C’mon people, make your own chicken stock. It’s easy and way better than Better Than Bouillon! Have to admit I keep the big Costco jar of the beef flavor handy, it is damn good.
I don't use it as much as the others but when I do the results are well worth having it on-hand! They last for ages, so no need to worry about expiry (not sure what their best-before dates are, but I look at those as suggestions anyway lol)
Cooked a pot roast yesterday,in between working on garden fence,and l love Costco carries the large size too.I love me some Costco.l’ve been a country cook from start but,l can’t do it without anymore.FYI the ham flavor is so helpful.
We buy all the basic ones (chicken, vegetable, beef). Then I learned there's others (mushroom, chili, etc.). Now every time I see a new-to-me flavour, I just buy it and figure out what I'm going to use it in later.
My partner made a turkey stew with the Italian herb concentrate tonight and it was SO GOOD. Between that and the homemade bread he made, it was a glorious carb 'n' tryptophan nap after dinner tonight.
If you have any of those spare cubes, don’t throw them out! Remove the shower head in the guest bathroom and put 1 to 2 inside and screw back on. Now sit back and enjoy not having to host any more guests…
Highly recommend! I love to make homemade cream of mushroom soup with the better than bouillon mushroom flavor and fresh mushrooms. It's just so extra good.
Love it, but I do also keep a jar of Knorr chicken powder because it’s gluten free and it’s so easy to add a little something even to dry rubs etc (I also always put a little in my rice when cooking).

Keep an eye out, they do go on sale in (my) grocery store. Love to microwave frozen broccoli and add a little of the chicken paste. Delicious
The lobster is great for seafood pastas to give them that added funky fish umami-ness.
