Desperate question: we haven’t been able to get my daughter’s Adderall for months so she’s really struggling in school without it, but we’re trying! The biggest struggle has been memory - she just can’t remember what happened at school so we can’t help. Any useful memory aids you all use? #ADHD

- Holy Basil (I like Rama)

Start w/ adding HW to the list as soon as it’s assigned.

I take pictures & notes, often voice to text
My kid’s school tried to get all the kids to use planners but he never did despite my urging
I schedule as many things as possible *when the plans are initially discussed*. I set alarms & reminders, I use timers to keep moving through a task
As a side note, Rosemary is more effective than the majority (of not all) Alzheimer's medications available. This is important because of the connection between ADHD and Alzheimer's ... Same dopamine deficiency.
1. Making sure I showered in the morning to help me be more alert
2. Making sure I had a solid breakfast with caffeine (eggs, waffles, and coffee)
4. Caffeine during the day at some point.
It will take time, but it will really help in the long run....
To incentivise her to take notes we have all sort of fun pens in her pencil box and pretty notebooks and journals.
-Caffeine helps with adhd, so coffee in the morning, & maybe a caffeine drink in her lunch?
-Chinese ginseng has been shown to help w adhd symptoms. Google for research studies & dosing. Some studies recommend taking
Good luck ❤️
