I have a 17 year old son.
Nothing scares me more than the idea of military conscription.
The draft hasn’t been used since Vietnam but it has not been abolished.

It scared my mother, too.
We are living in a reenactment of Jonestown on a massive scale.
This may be the generation of men missing a trigger finger which might cut down on US gun violence in and of itself.
It's not like it harms you.
They don't actually want conscription - it would make people pay attention. That's the only lesson they took from Vietnam
Not the testosterone-fueled orgy of woofing that TACO and his band of merry fellators mindlessly engage in.
Draft will be reinstated
The Boys Who Said NO is streaming on PBS.

If they can manipulate the vote, they can manipulate the draft.
If they can't get ICE to deport you, then they'll get Iran to ICE you.
There is always some thought in the madness, no matter how crazy it sounds.
IMO it's going to be used in the draft.
However, if Russia invaded Sweden i would sign up directly because it’s my house and my land i need to defend.
My son is 51 and grandson is 30, but will feel for those who may get drafted.
No good will come from this "war"..
I have been a pacifist since '68..
I think I read it doesn’t include private school high school students, just public school students if I’m remembering correctly what I read in Project 2025.
But that will all go out the window when he needs to create his next distraction campaign.
I was a few years too young for Vietnam, but I remember watching the lottery drawing on national TV.
Scary times.
Hs dad will enroll him in college
We all actually get along
We just do not discuss Dump
Go Navy!
Iran is 3x the size and 4x the population. The US military simply doesn’t have enough people if we were to go in there.
You may not realize the possibility of him having bone spurs!

My dad was drafted into the army. When you have a draftee for a parent, it changes how you view volunteer military and your willingness to go. Especially for wars like vietnam and now this horseshit. I am thinking of the ppl I know of Iranian descent.🫶🏽
Let’s hope what lies ahead,
foisted illegally on Americans by a weak & cowardly 🍊🤡 in the WH, isn’t another generational war.
Will Barron serve???

My only solution, get him to study something needed and they may see value with him on the back lines.
Tech suport, engineering ect
Praying it doesn’t come to another Vietnam…
purpose it’d be #47 & gang
So much for the *disobeying illegal orders* thing. There should be military tribunals for every active duty person who participated.
Guaranteed.
It is absolutely not an "if he will do it" question... only when
2) Bush and wanted to do a draft in 2003. They were told in no uncertain terms that they could not, for the reasons I've already mentioned.
3) Trump wants to wage a long-distance war with no ground troops. When he...
Remember, this is a guy who gets bored quickly. Tariffs and bigotry are the only things with staying power in his head.
The military today is extraordinarily high-tech (see the opera #Grounded) what this means is they need happy, well paid volunteers to run it.
Drafting people will not work today because if anybody is unhappy, unlike the brute force war machines of old, today’s war machines won’t work

(You can do THAT at home.)
Kindness personified 💜
However, in the US we always allow the wealthy to opt out of duty.
Sign them up!!
And disgusted.
And furious.
And terrified.
Send him to Canada!
Incels ???
Clarify.
Here, put these heavy boots on and run around that field.
Ironically, this is a procedure that was employed by Iran during the Iran/Iraq war.
