Also, new record from MGMT totally fell off and no one cared about the Liam Gallagher / John Squire record once the Oasis reunion was announced (and probably before that too)

St. Vincent's "Broken Man" is probably my favorite song of the year, and "Joan in the Garden" was thrilling at The Decemberists show in May.
