Compare the outer edge of the bad Photoshop job to a real photo of the moon.
That dark edge is a dead giveaway that the moon was added from somewhere else and the glow was added in post. The outer edge should be glowing hot, not dark.
Yep, that's one clear sign. And in general, you can't have both the foreground and the moon in focus like in this image. There are exceptions, but that requires certain conditions, a lot of planning and good execution. Composite of two or more pics is the usual approach
Yeah the bad moon glow is the most obvious factor imo but anyone who's tried astrophotography knows this is a composite immediately. Besides focus, the moon moves wayy too fast and is far too bright for the long exposure technique that is being used on the stars/canyon. Obvious comp on every level.
This appears to be Antelope Canyon, but I suspect it is photoshopped or AI generated. It’s been posted on many social media sites, but I have not seen any attribution for any image with the moon.
Hopefully I’m wrong. I’d love for it to be real. If you know who to credit this image to, please share.
I am new on here, but does everyone think they can just take whatever image from anyone and repost with no credit at all? It's nice to see a lot of cool images, but it seems to be at the expense of the creator who would have a copyright by default based on U.S. law.
No credits are given. I don’t believe it’s real and suspect it is AI generated. The exact image and similar versions appears on multiple social media platforms.
As for copyrights, I don’t even know what those are for freely generated AI images.
I was just commenting in general that even photos on here that do not appear to be AI, posted by an account that draws them from various sources, rarely give credit to anybody and are clearly not the direct work of the user managing the account.
Help me with my skepticism concerning the size of the moon relative to the image of the slot canyon...I would imagine that this image of the slot canyon would require a relatively wide-angle lens, yet the moon is quite large in the image. Is this a multi-image composition?
Just a heads up, this account is just using pics from Reddit/Twitter. 99.9 % of them are composites and AI. It’s just an account garnering likes from other peoples works.
I’m afraid you’re wrong. This is not AI generated as you think. Just simply an Air3s in the right location near home during sunset. Some of us still know how to take photographs even with a drone.
