WHERE THE EFF ARE THE DEMOCRATS? Where is the outrage? Where is the accountability? Where are the recalls of officials who are watching this happen? Where is the leadership? Where is everyone with power??? Every effen governor and congressperson needs to have the same press conference as Newsom.

There was a GoT S8 laziness to the writing in S2 that is very problematic, with the characters finding and popping up everywhere, boat stealing, magically arriving at the shoreline in a storm - remember? Ellie doesn’t know how to swim… I hope S3 is better thought out and better written.
comment in response to post
Well, I’m not sure about that but S2 did have a laziness about it, the same way GOT S8 did. The dialogue is always sharp but this boat driving, “arriving at the shore” and magically finding and popping up in places were BIG negatives for me in S2. I hope there is a 2nd and 3rd edit before S3.

What’s the difference if the court is fast or slow. He doesn’t follow the law. He imprisons judges. It will stop nothing. It will change nothing.

If the person next to me wore 3-inch deep brown makeup over only have his face, I would also take the metro. No one would have this twice impeached filthy racist predator as a teacher or uber driver. But ya, put him in charge.

On the upside, I cannot tell you how effen HILARIOUS this is to non-Americans. Same for a potus who can’t speak, sit, stand, shake hands, sip water or spell his wife’s name correctly. The most stupid of the stupid. That could be the new motto of the US.

As I am sure others have mentioned, the Statue is for the benefit of all while the plane is for one obese racist ass.

These people think drinking clorox cures covid. Do not discourage this behavior.

These sunny weekend marches make the protesters feel great but accomplish nothing and disrupt nothing. If Americans do not stand up where it matters (block bridges, buildings, roads) *and* bring down critical online systems, this is your final president bc after this dolt, comes his kids.
comment in response to post
@aoc.bsky.social Can you explain the above? Those of us in more progressive democracies want to know.
comment in response to post
Racism will define the midterms exactly how it defines every other political action in the US.

For a country that prides itself on freedom, it seems like your filthy predator in chief controls every part of your life, including what you see on a website. Non merci.

He’ll add them to his collection. In your lesser “democracy”, impeachment does not lead to removal. What a waste of time.

Mark, to us, he is a useless lying racist filthy fat sack of water. It matters not at all to us what he says.

Anything for a chicken leg.

I don’t understand. The NAZI SALUTE was given at the inauguration. Why is anything else a surprise? This admin shows you exactly who they are and everyday you’re like “oh my!!”. How about being shocked enough to protest at the white house? You know, join the 5 tourists already milling about.
comment in response to post
The n*zi salute at the inauguration was the first hint. Unsure why there are still 4 people milling about in front of the White House instead of 4 million.

Americans seem to be waiting for an armchair revolution, with some w/w/e marches thrown in like it’s 1969. This is really not effective against this horrific predator. You need leadership, an ongoing plan to DISRUPT and the will to implement it. Look to the past for answers. It’s been done before.

The only thing those fake doctors ordered for that morbidly obese box of wax is more fries.

That does not read like a government letter.

Forgive me, but where will you go?

Adams was a friend of mine. He had very strong opinions on books 4 and 5. If I published them here, I would be banned! 😂

You may be right. I also wondered about the recall process. If people believe their democratic politicians are not helping to prevent this disaster, can’t they be recalled and replaced with someone who will act?
comment in response to post
Civil rights and women’s rights were enacted and wars were stopped bc people protested where it mattered. Also, bc it is 2025 and not 1965, you can also bring critical online systems down. Marching in parks and on closed streets is great for morale but little else, imo.
comment in response to post
Next up: Friday rush hour, please, not a Saturday stroll. Block the places that disrupt those in power: key roads and bridges, hotels and airports. That is how wars were stopped.
comment in response to post
Instead of a Saturday, block major roads and bridges and tr&mp hotels and airports on a Friday rush hour and see how much airtime you get. Marching on a Saturday like it’s 1969 is powerful but absolutely NOT enough in 2025. Civil disobiedience is needed. Disrupt the wealthy. That’s how wars ended.

Price tag balloons should be our new license plate motto.

SELL all your American stocks, if you have any and are able to. Nothing kicks the rich like lo$$.
comment in response to post
There needs to be a whole new DOGE set up to pull these suckers down.
comment in response to post
How do you feel about sustained civil disobedience, the kind that blocks bridges and roads and hotels and airports, the kind that helped bring in civil rights and women’s rights - and stopped wars?
comment in response to post
Not properly educating ALL Americans, regardless of zipcode and color, is the basis of your problems today. Smart(er) people are less likely to believe a filthy racist predator with a gold toilet is their savior.
comment in response to post
Personally, it was the 🚨n*zi salutes🚨 at the inauguration that should have triggered a whole whack of procedures and there were none. Since then, two better democracies than the US have removed a President (SKorea) and prevented a popular candidate from running (FR) bc of crimes. USA? Nothing.

Can you find more than 5 people to stand in front of the WH? That would be a good place to start.
comment in response to post
100%. Not only that, but the general public already has trouble understanding what tariffs are, so the last thing you want is an influencial respected public figure like @mcuban.bsky.social instructing people to pick up extra basics. Just don’t.

Politicians can be recalled. Perhaps now is the time.

Just one.

We’re storing it up here in our beaver tails so we can send it down the Hudson when you’re not looking.

Yes, but he’d be a filthy useless sack of water having a tantrum in his bedroom instead of the WH if 77,000,000 ignorant deplorables didn’t vote for this thing.

How to make friends and influence people. All of us in beige and brown and wine cannot band together fast enough to rid ourselves FINALLY of any reliance on the US, hopefully forever.
comment in response to post
It’s about effen time and still shocking that only 4 have spines. Consider recalling all the others who are putting your people, your country, your economy and your future in danger.
comment in response to post
Im not sure, Mark. We supply a lot of the raw materials for your TP and other basics. We may not be able to continue to do so which can lead to shortages. Please don’t tell people to race out and buy the basics that they need to live. If they want to buy 5 cars, that’s awesome.
comment in response to post
This is exceptionally irresponsible. Do NOT do this. Panic buying to maybe save a few dollars can lead to the suffering of many. Mark, delete this.
comment in response to post
Great! Who’s next or is this all for nothing? Maybe more than 5 tourists will show up in front of the WH. Maybe.
comment in response to post
I cannot understand why there are only 5 tourists milling about in front of the WH instead of tens of thousands, day and night, shouting, screaming, disrupting. Bc while you’re far, there are 7,000,000 others under 60 minutes away. How about some of them stand the eff up? Too chilly out? 🤷🏻‍♀️
