Maybe you are but I am fighting every day. I will not join a movement that doesn't allow for difference of opinion. It is sad really that people want the left movement to be like the right.

I like you. We think alike. It seems many Dems want us to be like MAGA and just co-sign what the Dems do. They f'ed up royally and that was evident by the voter turn out.

I disagree. Expressing our disgust in govt is the most American thing you can do. The Repubs act like they all share a single brain cell. They co-sign everything. You will lose a lot of fighters if the same thing happens to us.

The US desperately needs a 3rd party. I moved to Independent after this election. There are some progressives that I will send money and support directly to but I have no interest in the party as a whole.

Do you mean that the same issues that made Roe v Wade necessary have come back after the abolishing of it? Crazy how that works. 🙄

Their whole “money saving” angle has just been an excuse to launder money to themselves. It’s been a scam from day one.

I agree. They fill the time with opinion because they have to entertain to keep people watching more than 30 minutes. They treat opinion like it is fact.

You sound like you rely on the government to lead the charge so to say. People here do it too.

I am not going to rely on the Dems. Maybe that is what Canadians do but that has never been the way here in the entire history of the US the people have had to fight for change. My leaders are the grassroots boots on the ground folks. Not politicians who are paid for.

So they speak out...what does that matter. They all just talk, talk, talk. I don't fan girl politicians. I vote for people. All my life we have had to fight for progress. What makes now so special that it is the exception to the rule?

Captain obvious has arrived. No shit. The Dems are crap. They play too nice and lack foresight.

Harris busted ass for 100 days to try to do the impossible. The lack of empathy from people is astounding. Now if you want to go after the other Dems I stand 100% next to you but this isn't it. I dont give a shit if you pity us because that has no impact on my fight.

Honestly I think it is cute that people think politicians are going to save us. But I will play along. Biden has served long enough and the last 4 years really aged him. We need to have some f'ing respect for the elderly and allow him some retirement and time with his family. 1/2

They don't have jobs in the government. Biden can retire and Harris doesn't owe anyone shit. 🤷♀️

The middle to the far left. They have to work hard to court all those people - many of us are critical thinkers. MAGA will blindly believe whatever is put in front of them so 47 and the RNC has it easier.

Something I read that put the Liz thing into perspective for me. I thought she was trying to get some normal repubs who didn't want Trump. The new Repub party is mostly a party of the same type of people who lean ultra-right. The Dems are a rainbow of people with very different points of view from
