I spent 17 years in prison for sexual assault. I did my time. I learned to own my attitude and behavior. I am disgusted that the government, the private sector, and the media landscape has allowed Trump to become POTUS, just to avoid going to prison.

I am not dreaming. My focus is serious. My ideas are designed to create feedback and generate better ideas. The issue for me is that I am 70 years old and disabled. I fear Trump and ilk are going to take my Social Security at any moment. Waiting for the midterms is not an option.

Could establish once and for all where the people stand. I would be curious to see if there was enough support to rattle the GOP into standing up to Trump.

I also agree about midterms. But, I think the way to see where things are really at is through ballot initiatives. See what people are really thinking. A recall initiative across the country against the POTUS, Senators and Representatives from both parties could shake the foundations of Washington.

You're right. Laws don't come from votes. Ballot initiatives come from voters. Ballots can come from anybody in any state. Enough votes can get initiatives of every sort onto a ballot. It is not necessary to wait for an election. States can have special elections as they see fit.

Simply put the American People through the power of consensus can change the law as they see fit. The issue is that the current political power in Washington avoids this fact like it's the plague. If enough people in enough States were to vote to recall the POTUS, it would be the law.

Further: “This original and supreme will organizes the government and assigns to different departments their respective powers. It may either stop here or establish certain limits not to be transcended by those departments”.

The exercise of this original right is a very great exertion; nor can it nor ought it to be frequently repeated. The principles, therefore, so established are deemed fundamental. And as the authority from which they proceed, is supreme, and can seldom act, they are designed to be permanent”.

the whole American fabric has been erected.

In 1987, the US Congress tried to codify the Fairness Doctrine, through the Fairness in Broadcasting Act. The Fairness in Broadcasting Act 1987, S742. Ronald Reagan vetoed the Fairness in Broadcasting Act as a breach of the 1st Amendment pursuant to “Freedom of Speech”.

Going back to election 2008, I had an idea that I thought could be a good book. Reality liked the idea, but decided there were things I needed to learn first. What struck me that night was seeing Reverend Jesse Jackson in tears. What I am learning now is about the backlash from that night.
