I haven't seen flechettes like this in pretty much anything else, they're usually darts not... This. While it's not the same, Taofledermaus has tested out similar levels of fucked up, like this fucking shotgun frangible APDS/PELE shell

Designed to shoot shrapnel knives, ammo that screams "normalize neverending hatred in your soul." How I wish there was performance data out there.

And now for the next few years it's gonna be held over us each and every time they fuck us over. "Well see we stopped the sports ban bill, why can't you shrill harpies ever be happy?"

The fact multiple journalists signalled it was going to pass and it took a concerted lobbying effort to get the Dems to lift a finger 😬

This is in spite of her having done something pretty "not-great!" to me, that's how much I value her helping me figure everything out

If I recall correctly that poll was mostly based on lesbians saying they support transmascs specifically

I've found it a useful term for niche cases like others here have noted. The widespread use of ASAB language disturbs me though. Can't ever imagine identifying with it or using it to identify groups, especially when much better alternatives exist.

Gay guys(when they aren't wannabe Ernst Röhms or RuPaul levels of transmisogynist) have always been wonderful towards me even to today!
Bi people, when they aren't chaser-y, are literally the best people to be around though. Two of my besties are cis bi women.

If I was asked this before I would've said "girl's days out with my mom like we used to have before I came out," but she and I actually did that two weeks ago :D

Except! Except for the nasty, nagging thought in the back of my head, of "Would she be anywhere near this conversational and kind towards me if she knew I was trans?"

I ended up in a long and lovely conversation with an old butch black lady who was there with her wife. We sat with them the rest of the night, and it was great!

Fast forward to around a year ago, at a different, more regular event I'd been to several times by this point. She and I looked, well, like any other metalhead masc/pastel goth femme couple you'd see around. Night and day difference. People talking to both of us all night.

It was another two months before I started to pass in public and felt comfortable trying again, which thankfully I did.

But this time, there were looks, unease, and a refusal by anyone to talk to us. Well, talk to me, several women talked to her when I went to the restroom. We ended up leaving dejected, and she had to comfort me the rest of the night.

So anyways, three months into my third attempt at transitioning, my ex and I go to an event nearby. And the difference was... Crushing. Before, her and I had no problems at these spaces and events even when we appeared to be, for all intents and purposes, a straight couple.

Even recounted that to a therapist(who happened to be Jazz Jenning's aunt lol) and she said, without pausing, "It's because they don't see you as a threat"

Now I had the experience of growing up with tons of lesbian friends, and long being welcome in lesbian spaces even as a "man"(especially with those who I had come out to).

I have sooooo many thoughts on this but I suppose I'll just share a related experience: the sheer whiplash between the first(well, the first post-coming out) and last dyke events I went to with my ex

Years, decades, of sticking our necks out for others as a community only to be abandoned by the people we tirelessly helped. There are not words in the English language for the depth of the betrayal happening to us.
