Wait for me! I've got two months until 40 but I'd like to join (and not be robbed) 🤣

Sorry, those are episode titles from Always Sunny!

I'm partial to:
- The Gang Buys A Boat
- The D.E.N.N.I.S. System
- Flowers for Charlie (especially if you've read Flowers for Algernon 🤣)
- MAC Day
But I quote from it all the time!

I'm still finding Always Sunny to be hilarious in my "old" age. Some jokes aren't as funny now, but overall, great show! Initially, I randomly happened upon an episode and it got me hooked. There are tons of best episodes lists.

My apartment had an entry door with a defective bar (that would lock the door down). They had tons of signs like this. Someone would do it *at least* once a week. They just replaced that door 🤣.

I used to rot in bed until like noon on weekends if I didn't have plans, but now my back hurts the rest of the day if I do that. It has actually made me a weekend morning person. I just get up, run all my errands, then come home and rot (on the couch) for the rest of the day.

Wegovy is not covered for me but getting a walking pad and watching the news to allow the crushing dread to stymie my appetite has done wonders.

Also this. Sometimes the main attraction (in your case, burgers) is not even the best thing on the menu!

I have been better about drinking water and swear by using pure shea butter everywhere, including my lips. This is the first year I don't have any peeling!

It's sad that it got that far honestly. I'm still dealing with the realization that I fell for some of this crap as a teen despite warning my friends.
I deemed *myself* more mature and smarter than my classmates from an early age so men didn't even have to waste the time use that line on me.
comment in response to

Exactly. The problem is, they'll rationalize that and say the post is not about *me* but the other teen girls who are not as mature as me. 🫠

You forgot to add a suspicious timeline that would make their relationship start before the F was 18 and that he was a trusted friend or neighbor.
Bonus points for follow-up comments from OP like: "he told me I was mature for my age" and "we waited until I was 18."

🤣 mine is the "The Full Story Behind Resident Evil." I've heard of it and watched a couple of movies, but I am too scared to play any of the games!

Right! They gotta take that out of the funeral playlist. Had me about to climb in there with her! 😭

🤣 I like to call it "creamy white stuff" to the people I know who drink it.

🤣 My mom would have laughed at that, so it gave me a chuckle for a bit. That song is depressing as hell though!

Me: *devastated, getting ready to view my mom's body at her funeral*
["Take Me to the King" starts playing]
Me: *looking at my mom, distracted* Is this song telling me to end it...? 🤣

Of course but I mean with more specificity to people like me who have rare conditions that probably aren't first on the list to study in depth.
The point is to keep us chronically ill so we need some of that very expensive health care. Maybe things can change in light of.........

Oh yeah. The airport is probably the most important place I think (besides hospitals)! On my last two trips to Detroit and New Orleans, I rarely saw any masks in the airport or on the plane. And with the amount of people in there hacking up a damn lung... I was shocked.
comment in response to

I am so sorry to hear that! This is why I'm worried about my heart. There are definitely going to be additional chronic issues that will be discovered for the next couple of decades probably.

Yeah. I liked those decorative masks too (mine would say things like "if you can read this, you're too close") but I would wear that on top of an n95 as well.

I've not heard of anyone having nerve damage, so I'm sorry to hear that! My symptoms were a very leaky nose and trouble breathing going up a flight of stairs (which is also a symptom of my heart condition). My breathing has not felt the same since COVID though.
comment in response to

Oh yeah. I got COVID at work back when COVID was a dirty secret you kept, and a coworker who was still apparently shedding, rushed into my office during lunch with a work emergency. I forgot to put it on for like 2 or 3 minutes while they looked over my shoulder.
comment in response to

Honestly, I feel naked without the mask and it gets me out of having to wear makeup! I have a heart condition, so it's precautionary because it will take years to understand how COVID impacts even healthy hearts, let alone mine.

One of the good things about still masking up. I haven't smelled red onion armpits or coffee breath in years! I'm afraid to take it off at this point...

That's inspiring! Even just being able to sit in on practice would be a good start!

Yeah. I think that's how I got screwed. I went away to college and someone pawned them thinking I wouldn't need them. I would have dragged them with me everywhere as well!

I wanted to play the flute or the trumpet but I could not get either to work for me! Not sure why I never tried the clarinet, but maybe that could be a fun compromise since it's small and won't be as loud 🤣

🤣 I've never eaten one and I worked at McDonald's in high school. Usually, a statement like this is followed up with a story about how it's actually made of kangaroo or rat meat but honestly, they just looked unappetizing (and still do).

I was always envious of your case size 🤣. I'm pretty sure I was sending my classmates home with bruises trying to squeeze down the halls with my case!

🤣 but how many "just in case" tampons does she have? I can't seem to convince myself to bring less than 15 everyday to and from work.

That's so good to hear. Weirdly I will remember the, and I hesitate to say this, fingering for a specific piece from high school but I can't remember what the piece was called. So my band geek is in there somewhere!

This is a good idea! I've been toying around with the idea of trying to teach myself keyboard/piano but I wonder if starting with an instrument I'm semi-familiar with might be less traumatic!

🤣 this is also me with flour when doubling a recipe...
All it took was one batch of cookies where I doubled everything except the flour 😭
