I was thinking it's to cover the games of companies that went under or who aren't going to pay Nintendo to patch the compatability in. Figuring there is a base pay to make it work.

Due to work hours, I miss all the matinee shows before 2 pm. I know the popcorn and drink are not required, but it completed the experience to me. I miss when I was a kid, and the local theater was $5 bucks all day.

Fair. But an example for me, Bioshock. I only enjoyed it enough to play a couple of hours and set it aside. A friend and coworker a year later kept pushing me to pick it back up, and I saw what I was missing.
