They got Al Capone on evading income tax, not on his real gangsterism. Sounds stupid - but they got him.

How wonderful to name them after the Collins sisters - I feel you should have a Tiger Hutchings to keep them company. But clearly the Glove of Enlightenment and the Bowl of Truth are enough for themā¦ bless!

#Autism means you might misunderstand what someone is feeling. Being a jerk means you don't care what someone is feeling. They are not at all the same (and in fact, most autistic people I know care deeply about others!)

Some dictionary recently made āmanifestā a word of the year for some reason I now canāt remember. The Post Office being super down-with-the-kids, perhaps?

The Assissted Dying Bill does not provide for assisted death for people who happen to be in severe pain. It limits assisted dying to those who are terminally ill (<6m prognosis), who may or may not be in severe pain. So Iām sorry, but your nutshell breakdown is wrong, and importantly wrong.

The history of drains is just social history in microcosm.

Iāve lived in houses where having a drains plan wouldāve been a godsend. One was a Victorian villa which, we were told, had a sluice fitted to divert the nearby burn to flush out the drains. The other was a modern steading conversion where water from the septic tank turned out to have to run uphill.

And now heās been rescued, a helping hand extended by a desperate man looking for good publicity. Heās back, svelte and groomed as we remember, transported to the lush pastures of the peerage. Like, one might almost say, a pig in muck.

There were those occasional sightings ā a brief glimpse of an insignificant book, the pale glow of a corruption overshadowed by that of the rest of the flock ā but essentially a solitary existence in a shepherdās hut with nothing but a lonely old age wrapped just in wealth and privilege ahead.

Who can forget that moment when he went over the cliff with a plaintive do-be-do-be-do, all those years ago?

Possibly the fact that there even are millions of #ImACeleb viewers already shows how fucked up this country is.
