Ignoring details is sadly the usual.

Hey, Tom. Can I ask when the show will be back?

Hard to get people to care when Dems, including leadership, are helping Trump's deadly agenda.

And all the other work she does, doesn't count why exactly?

You were a follower, but don't know her pronouns?
Alejandra posts a lot. Reporting, calls to action, some more lighthearted moments, some doom. Like anyone, she's allowed to feel hopeless. Zeroing in one that one aspect feels like you want to be mad at someone you think you can effect. You can't.

Have you checked the OP timeline?

That is what happens at that age.

Interesting that the US chose the worst possible option for president and then suddenly got a lot worse.

I don't disagree. But I also think this is why so many Dem voters didn't vote this past election. Every time someone fights for the people like AOC or Bernie (I know he's an Independent) they are slammed by the party. What are the voters to do?
comment in response to

Sadly, that doesn't make him a traitor to the party. That makes him typical of the party.

Did you know more people who voted for Bernie in the primary voted for Hillary in the general, then those that vote for Hillary in the 08 primary and then voted for Obama?
But hey, it's Bernie's fans fault the Dems refuse to push for M4A.

My general issue is that they refuse to change and for a lot of the time, engage. There are those that attempt to draw attention but it needs to be a more overall effort. A few voices get drowned out. Overall they refuse to even try and get attention.

Genuinely curious what those who said this have done themselves.

The vibe I've gotten since this story broke is that it was an open secret in Baltimore. Which means they all probably knew something. Whether it was actionable is another thing, but what are the chances they were actually proactive?

Imagine thinking people should stop being radical. Using her logic black folk should've stopped after the Civil War ended.

And he'll be kicking in the league next season like nothing happened. I hope I'm wrong, but considering the current state of this country, it's what I expect.

You assume negligence. It's the business owner's job to know they aren't doing that. I also think there is a clear difference between trying to compile a list of anti-trans bills for a greater purpose, and using AI generated art to advertise your business.

So like a lot of things considered evil.

What are the other possibilities considering the system we exist in?

This behavior is encouraged if the target is considered worthy. Which itself is an issue imo.

What parts of the left are pro-AI?
comment in response to

I personally hate it. Especially as it's meant that a team like City can be absolute garbage more matchdays then not, and still sneak in. But yeah, I'm watching.

One might say that strategy was... weird.
comment in response to

Haven't seen this but from what you wrote, Isn't that a lot different? In that situation isn't it on the owner to know what they're using? Doesn't make the reaction right, and considering we are talking about a trans person, it was without doubt OTT. But that sounds very different.
comment in response to
post
You're right. Alejandra was obviously trying to do good and we need her. But on the left AI's pretty much a universal evil and this is the normal reaction to anything in that realm. Not saying it's right, but this is how people are primed to react.

Because without that, there you're just assuming bias for no reason.
Even in your example, the runny nose. You have a cause. The cold. You just think bias exist out of thin air.

Why doesn't the ball move?
comment in response to
post
Wrong. Pinning the ball to your body counts as control as long as it doesn't move. The ground did not assist in the catch, because the ball didn't move when it hit the ground.
The play helped the Bills. KC were getting a first down on the penalty. It just gave the Bills more time to score.
comment in response to
post
Where does the bias come from? You are saying something exist without explaining how or why it exists. Just that it does.
comment in response to
post
And yet there were a crap ton of conspiracies about how they were favored. Though using your logic, if they didn't want them there, why didn't they just ask the refs to be a bit biased?
comment in response to
post
It was Worthy's hand on the ball, which is why it didn't move. Tie always goes to the offense. How are you even arguing this?
comment in response to
post
This is exactly what everyone said about the Pats. While Peyton Manning was right there being the face of the NFL.
comment in response to
post
A ball can touch the ground and be a catch if it's controlled and doesn't move. If you're going to complain about a bias, you should at least know the rules.
comment in response to
post
I understand your concern. But it has nothing to do with the refs. Athletes have been killed for simply not performing. That's a societal issue.
comment in response to
post
Using that argument, a correct call can be made, someone loses a lot of money, and they still want to murder someone. The refs don't matter in that regard. What matters is the gambling.

You are treating the NFL like they're healthcare CEOs, actually killing people by withholding care. It's jsut a game, bro.
