The reality is, the govt failed to release the impact assessment with Kendall’s reform announcements because they wanted the reality of 250k people (including 50k kids) falling into poverty to be buried. Forcing worried people to wait another week to know the truth. Disgraceful.

“The first ever live-streamed Holocaust” “The biggest child massacre in history” “The most ever child amputees” “The most journalists killed in a war zone” “The most civilian infrastructure destroyed” “The first time children were goaded into death” This is your Zionism

Unidentified men grabbing someone off the street and putting her in a car because she wrote an op-Ed. This as flatly authoritarian as anything we’ve seen in this country in a very long time.

Jeez. This is completely unacceptable and wholly indefensible

It’s clear that the more stupid, amoral, dishonest and/or vicious you are, the more use you are to Donald Trump. And this holds true across politics & media on both sides of the Atlantic.

Self-employed people and small businesses who do self-assessment face hefty new penalties if they pay their VAT or income tax late. Fined 3% of overdue tax if 15 days late, another 3% at 30 days, and then 10% a year after that. The changes will bring in £105m in 2028/29

Welfare isn't unpopular, it is a system that we all have to rely on and everyone realises its value. It's unpopular with the billionaire Media who hate every penny you get because it is one they don't.

Balancing the books on the backs of disabled people is not just unfair; it’s cruel. A million disabled people stand to lose vital support, while the wealthiest are protected. This isn’t necessity, it’s a choice—and it’s the wrong one. #SpringStatement

Thousands of Labour members voted for Keir Starmer to be Labour leader because he pledged to #TaxTheRich He didn't pledge to commit social murder by making the sick and disabled and poverty-stricken even poorer

Come Christmas they could all be in jail together, well Laurence Fox would be in the UK and the Andrew Tate and his brother in Romania. But they could all be in jail.

Author Michael Moorcock: “You don’t fight chaos with law - You fight it with chaos - better chaos… “The aim is not to be nicer than them but smarter than them. When they go low - we go lower better! Otherwise we march into the camps with our noses in the air. Chaos engineers unite!”

This is totally out of touch with reality and utter BS I don't know where these figures come from, although clearly the people who came up with them have no understanding of the massive impact climate breakdown is going to have in just the next 20 - 30 years www.theguardian.com/environment/...

I saw the work by Olga Lautman and he findings were disturbing: Steven Witkoff was in Russia when he was added to the signal chat. Russia has infiltrated Signal and used against Ukrainians. Very possible they have the classified signal info:

60 years ago, when Black civil rights activists marched to Montgomery from Selma, Alabama to demand voting rights, they were met with police violence. We honored their sacrifice and recommitted ourselves to the fight at the 60th Selma Jubilee.

NEW: The BBC’s Jeremy Bowen has accused the Israeli government of blocking journalists from Gaza because of scenes “they don’t want us to see”. Says he’s been there for half a day in 18 months, escorted by Israeli forces. Story:

As an Irish guy who has lived in the US since 1989 is saying what I have thought for years. The majority of Americans are selfish, ignorant and don’t care about anyone. All they care about is money and themselves.

DWP benefit cuts to push over 250,000 people into poverty - including 50,000 kids The damning conclusion is contained in the Department for Work and Pension's own analysis published after Chancellor Rachel Reeves delivered the Spring Statement www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

Once again - this is not what millions of us voted for. We wanted better and those most in need NEEDED better and if labour don't understand how bad all of this looks then they're in deep and dire straits

Just so we’re *crystal* clear. The Labour Government are taking £4.8bn from disabled people via welfare cuts, and they are only able to gather up a predicted extra £1bn from tax evaders. I think that’s very interesting, no?

UC was a huge cut as it combined entitlement and housing benefit, a big financial loss compared to the prior scheme. However, Labour’s reforms will compound 14yrs of austerity and the impact of Covid on mental/physical health. It’s frankly disastrous. It’ll not just increase poverty, but haunt them.

I think it’s important to realize the Atlantic editor is ex idf and has a history of promoting the US imperial line not because it’s a “conspiracy” but because it’s good for people to know Pete H doesn’t have his number on signal by accident, but only added him to that particular chat by accident.

Utter khunts.😡😡😡

To Labour MPs who support the targetting of the poor and vulnerable instead of the rich. You should be well and truly ashamed You are not fit to be members of the party that built the welfare state I am disgusted by your acquiescence www.theguardian.com/uk-news/live...

"There is nothing Labour about working people being made to pay the price for economic irresponsibility," says Rachel Reeves, as she announces plans for yet more cuts to in-work benefits, while ruling out increasing taxes on corporations, or the wealthy

Any MP telling you they hate handouts is a liar. There isn't anyone except King Charles taking more handouts than them, they collect 4x child benefit for up to 3 children, free food, free housing, free electricity, free phones, free computers, free travel and £94k.

In simple terms, conservatives support the permanent oppression of brown people because they fear them, rightly understanding they will never agree to their oppression. Liberals, on the other hand, support what they assume is the temporary oppression of brown people...

Britain's 177 billionaires sit on £965 bn - more EACH than the average Brit will earn in 1000 lifetimes. So obviously, Labour decided NOT to have a 2% wealth tax on this obscene, unspendable hoarding. More poverty for 6.9m disabled Britons is their solution. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

I’ve been dragging myself onto the train at sparrow’s fart most mornings lately - because apparently my life choices have ruled out sleep as a viable option - and it’s been surprisingly enlightening.

Today, Rachel Reeves is going to try and sell the idea of austerity 2.0 as an inevitable consequence of the Tory legacy combined with the external pressures of world events. But the reality is it's a choice, in exactly the same way Labour's decision to stay lashed to the Brexit mast is a choice.
