We are miles apart. Just get this season over with and put the last 4 horrific years behind us.

Dyche had zero pull, everyone knew he was going. Expect that to change with Moyes as he has so much respect in the game. Think there might be a couple of surprises.

Dyche did a decent job but I think he lived off the negativity. He had nobody to answer to for so long so it suited him. Once the new owners came in that changed. Everton are not Burnley, standards were being lowered season after season and that could not be tolerated. Negative defensive football.

Too big a fee so you move on. Still very concerned that we can’t spend anything. 4 loan signings in summer, 1 permanent signing with very low down payment. It has been like this for 5/6 transfer windows now. We have been shedding players on big money for 2/3 years now. When are we out of this cycle

Reading the Villa fans comments they don’t appear too disappointed and are delighted with the fee.

The Wolves manager bounce is over. They have a shocking run of games coming up.

Perfect scenario Dyche or a short term appointment keeps us up and we reset completely as a club in the summer and take some risks.

10 wins and a few draws keeps you up each year. To have only 3 wins at the half way point is shocking and got previous managers sacked. All it takes is for one team to go on a run and we are done.

Keeping Dyche gives the bottom 3 a chance. 3 wins in 19 games is a disgrace and got Lampard sacked. We have nothing going forward and we are hoping for a clean sheet and to nick a goal from a set piece.

I’d love to take the risk but it would be madness in our position.

We are in a very precarious position now. Potter will not get a tune out of these players. Squad is so limited but that is still no excuse for what is being served up. I’d give it to Moyes for 18 months. Hopefully give us some stability and then we can reassess.

@efclyndon.bsky.social is Toffeeweb going away or are you combining the sites?

Back to Basics for Dyche ie Hoof Ball. It is enough to probably keep us up but Wolves are the worst side I’ve seen come to our place in years.

I think he perfectly spoke on how we all feel. Pure apathy to the situation and broken. Feel sorry for the fans who went all that way to witness a performance like that.

Shocking Vote Management by FG. They left at least 4/5 seats behind. They will have nightmares about Cork West. Got 24% of the vote and no seat. No seat in Wexford and Kerry. Loss in Fingal East. Saying that losing 18 incumbents was a big challenge. They won’t go in without rotating Taoiseach.

Yes it can easily be made up. We need to get to 20 points by the half way point or we are in serious trouble.

Not sure compensation should come into it any decision. We go down it won’t be pretty. Sack him now and give Moyes a 18 month contract. Not my 1st choice but needs must. We are day dreaming into relegation.

Yep was half expecting the same. The hope is they are ready to go from Day 1 with every important top position in the club. We are rudderless from the top with nobody able to make a decision. Standards are now rock bottom. United next is a right off and we have to beat Wolves.

Awful stuff. Its nick a goal from a set piece or nothing. No attacking threat. The teams below us are not as bad as last year so unfortunately TFG have a decision to make once they come in.

We know the club as it stands is living hand to mouth until the takeover happens but There have been a lot of new hires by KT the last while. It would be great to get some insight on how the academy and youth set up is doing and has there been improvements and a change in approach.

Where does he think the team should be in the league? Is he happy with the current position and what is lacking to be higher up the table?
