Relax everyone, he’s just trolling us…

Next time I'm annoyed that the cat wants to sit in my lap, I'll remember how much worse it could be 🤣

Something is shifting. They are still breaking things and stealing things. And they will keep trying to break and to steal. But the propaganda magic around the oligarchical coup is fading. (1/2)

This doesn't jive with anything I experienced amongst my evangelical interactions, nor among the MAGA types I encounter. Not saying it isn't accurate data, however.

‪I hate to say it, but that's actually a pretty good picture. I despise the man, but the pose, the black and white, the lighting...I'd want that photographer taking my photo if there was any reason for having it taken.

Andrew Ross Sorkin has a new book coming out. His "Too Big to Fail" was by far my favorite take on the great recession. I can't wait for this one. www.axios.com/2025/02/20/a...

NEW: U.S. consumer sentiment plunges—down 10% from January over tariff and inflation fears. Most people I know think the economy is cooked thanks to Trump’s policies—designed to help the rich and screw working folks. He’s not doing shit to fix the economy or lower costs. Just broken promises.

Since Apple decided not to offer a new sub $500 SE, I need to add fixing/repairing my current SE to the list of options, rather than just focusing on a Google or Android.

Not sure what it says about me, but I really, really liked this 🤣

Current mood

Laguna Beach is an art colony. We support the arts. Chip Bok is the brilliant award-winning political cartoonist that created this artwork.

My theory why so many dudes weirdly, viscerally hate Zelenskyy: It’s because he didn’t flee when the tanks rolled into Ukraine. Deep down, bros around the world know they wouldn’t have done the same, so there’s an attempt to tear down the man that reminds them of their own cowardice.

Sometimes I will find something that I think is really funny and I have this pressing desire to share it on Facebook (where I have a lot of Real Life friends, etc). Then I hesitate. Is that fear, prudence, or wisdom?

For all of those who are staring down a life that looks very different than what you had hoped, please remember this: you don't have to choose either/or. You can do both 💛 Image: The New Happy #DaddyBlackbird #Loss #Grief #Hope 🐦‍⬛

You know that bit about the lion laying down with the lamb? Posts like this make me believe it really could happen if the world were set right.

It’s the end of the world as we know it And I’m unfortunately much less aloof about it than R.E.M. led me to expect

Dear @FOXnews - please give Jessica her own show, perhaps in Shawn Hannity's time slot.

Medicaid is not for sale. NASA is not for sale. The Post Office is not for sale. America is not for sale. We have an obligation to resist kings. We outnumber them. And they can be overwhelmed.

Just a reminder: Germany is holding elections tomorrow. I'm trying to not get my hopes up.

Rep Raskin has been great. Rep Ocasio-Cortez has been great. And Rep Frost and Rep Crockett. Senator Murphy. Maybe no one knew exactly what to do. But such people laid down a clear marker. Let’s respect these and other elected federal representatives who stood out these first few weeks.

Is it sad that we will need some sort of "Project 2029" to undo all the Project 2025?

People need to understand this: Trump did not leave office willingly the first time. If his health holds up, he will not leave office willingly this time. He is not joking about serving more than two terms.

The Russian government controls the thermostats in citizens' homes. ... how many libertarians and magas who toy with praising Russia want to live that way, really?

Wrote a few Canadian friends congratulations them on their win last night. I hated cheering for the "other side," but right now, I don't feel like we're the "good guys" anymore.
