It is how you used to end formal letters that include a request so completely inappropriate here. He rants like a child then adds this non sequitur on the end. It's like two people wrote it - Kevin the Teenager (comedy character from UK comic Harry Enfield) and Joan Holloway from Madmen

This picture should be shown on all the news channels every day until everyone wakes up to the fact that the US government is supporting and paying for human rights violations. They should be kicked out of the UN along with Israel and Russia

There will be many of them delighted with the opportunity to be paid to taser people. The Republicans have their own mercenary army

I'm worried for him and others who Biden pardoned. Trump has said he will renege on the pardons. He is one of the good guys

So anxious for you all from here in UK. It must be so upsetting to see this happening with little pushback from Dem lawmakers other than words. I thought McConnell stymied Obama's government even when they were a minority. I might be wrong but can't they just refuse to be part of a rogue govt.

It's even more incoherent when you see it written down

Trump wants to divide and rule by having individual countries coming to him cap in hand to get a better deal. We need to be aligned with EU Canada and others to have any impact at all.British diplomats were at Mar a Lago at the weekend. So embarrassing how everyone troops down there

The last time Trump gave medical advice it was to inject bleach ๐Ÿคจ

I'm a UK pensioner and this mobster has caused my pension to tank. He is causing real hardship all around the world and it hasn't even started. Jaguar Landrover employs 4000 people where I live in Liverpool and no doubt many will end up losing their jobs. UK hasn't even got a trade deficit with US

And those bloody Italians calling a pizza Margherita instead of Margaret. How dare they!

He must be a Catholic. Ash Wednesday many Catholics receive the ashes in a cross on their forehead but there is no need to keep them there all day. To do so and then go on TV is very weird
comment in response to post
Performative. Hey look MAGAs Im a Christian. I was brought up a Catholic and there really is no need to keep the ashes on your forehead.

If social security pensions are the same as here in the UK, you pay into the pot your whole working life so it's YOUR Money. Surely there could be a class action by all pensioners against the government? Sorry I know I may sound naive but this just blows my mind. All I can keep saying is solidarity

I watched the film Clememcy last night. All I kept saying was 'why?'. USA is supposed to be a civilised country. It sickens me

But is anyone left who.isnt a Trump supporter who would risk doing the tight thing?

This is tantamount to murder. By denying intelligence to Ukraine they can no longer know where any threat is coming from. It's slmost like every department is taking instructions from Russia. If UK and France put any troops in as peacekeepers then denying them intelligence goes against NATO rules

What??? He actually said that? Surely that is enough to disqualify US from membership

Sad state of affairs when you are afraid your own country would betray allies.we had Boris Johnson when Foreign Sec leaving a NATO summit to attend a party in Italy with former KGB spy Alexander Lebedev without a security detail. He became PM and despite objections from MI6 made Lebedev's son a lord

Thanks for listening so we don't have to. I can't stand the sound of his voice

It's payback time for bailing him out in the 80s and 90s and help winning the 2016 election

He is probably furious that European leaders are actually doing something, showing real support for Ukraine and displayed genuine warmth and respect towards Zelenskyy. Expect more Europe bashing to come. Good. bring it on. Never been more proud to be European and having Starmer as our PM.

I wasnluke that but feel a lot calmer after watching the Starmer and Trudeau press conferences. Quietly confident and reassuring

Don't use your beds up for potatoes. They grow really well in old compost bags

Five years in and these are my recommendations for easiest veg to grow. Chard, beetroot courgettes, rhubarb, cavolo Nero amd sprouts(need netting), spinach, Florence fennel, all salad leaves, radicchio, leeks. Celeriac grows but needs a lot of space or is tiny. Brassica need netting

I've never been more proud of being a European. UK stupidly left EU but I feel we are much closer now and won't throw Ukraine under the bus. Yes it would be easier with US support but we have to go it alone now. If Putin wins he will March into Baltic states, Poland etc. We have to help Ukraine

The explanations on here just cleared up a misconception from most of us in Europe that if you protest and are prosecuted, lose your job then you will have no health care. In UK that's something we would never have to consider.

What do you think Putin has on Trump and Musk cos I think they are both assets. Just not sure why

in the case of America, those who voted for Trump knew exactly what he was going to do. Maybe not the extent of it but most if it. Now the rest of the world has to seal woth this toxic mayhem which could realistically lead to violence. Every day I get more worried.

Take a look who is there Lewis. Head of the Russian Sovereign Wealth Fund. Now why would they be present at a supposed peace settlement?

Yeah, but the Liverpool fans are outraged our players celebrated like we had won

I agree. I never watch Liverpool on the telly so that's the first time I've seen them for ages and they weren't that good at all.

They are the dirtiest team I've seen at Goodison all season. Supposed to be the best team in the league and they're a bunch of cheats.

How does Doucoure keep getting a game? Everyone was poor today- sloppy passing, no creativity - but he never seems to know what to do when he gets the ball so passes it back. Can't believe the difference since last week.

I had a Brexit cupboard but prices didn't go up straight away as we were still in the EU till 2020. I used ll the stuff up and regret it now. Food inflation and Brexit have put prices up so much A litre of olive oil is ยฃ16 (about $20) when there is a crisis panic shopping will cause shortages

Stormtroopers jn Nazi Germany were literally the headbangers. Hitler wanted to recruit men who would be happy to go to prison rather than intellectuals. You need your brownshirts and stormtroopers. Trump has those with everyone he just let out of jail

I am reading Laurence Rees's The Nazi Mind after hearing him on your show. I urged friends to to take Project 2025 seriously just last week and they said I was overreacting. And just a few days later we've zoomed to where Hitler/Trump dismantles government and is about to declare himself a dictator
