It’s not even grammatically correct. “America” is just a description of where the states are. If France had another revolution and was reconstituted as a united group of states only in Europe this time you wouldn’t call them “Europeans” because everyone else in Europe are still Europeans.

Actually it’s the oldest thing in civilization. And I’m not just talking about Greece or something. People have been organizing themselves in leaderless fashion since long before writing. When Europeans showed up to North America they destroyed an existing democracy to write a sham constitution.

The real problem isn’t what people are saying it’s that these platforms hand them a megaphone to do it. It seems like they want you concerned about moderation because all sides have a grievance. While people fight they go right ahead and just trumpet whatever thing gets you looking at the most ads.

It’s crazy because if you wanted to make a few billion it would be pretty easy to make a new company that actually googles things and people would actually use it. Now, you couldn’t make $100b but even with just the most basic of ads you’d be set for life.
