So, no discussion on anything that runs afoul of free markets? Does that include Trump’s plan to tariff our country into a protectionist state?

It’s one of those words that “developed” a second definition from misuse. Most people thinks it sounds like and means ‘unaffected’ or ‘unbothered’, so the dictionary folks had to recognize it as such.

I was 99.9% sure ‘interfrastic’ was a typo. But then I googled, and I’ll be damned.

Chuck, I love you, but please please please realize that the face of the Dem party for the next 2 years and beyond should be only people under 50. We cannot look like the geriatric party anymore. Pls let the young ‘uns take over.

I was going to joke, “What is it in the US? WWE?” Then I googled it, and WWE is #2.

I do part time money coaching and there are two cases where I judge the fuck out of someone’s budget.
1. They keep asking their parents for a bailout.
2. They politically weaponize “I’m living paycheck to paycheck” while driving an $80k car.
Fantastic show today!

Thank you! Really nice of you to provide that!
I guess I don’t see the downside in this instance of the paradox. More efficiency = more adoption. The paradox is typically…more efficiency, thus you consume something else which cancels out the new gain in efficiency.
But, once again, thanks!

You know how in high school or early college, there’d invariably be, like, a 30-year old dude who lived nearby and he’d get stoned with you and your teenage friends. He’d have no wife nor visible means of support. That’s Brett Weinstein except he’s 55 now.

It seems like they have *more* insecurity than the average man. See:
1) Elon’s patently false claim of being a top Path of Exile player
2) Zuck’s empty boasting about being a bow hunter
3) Whatever Bezos is injecting in his body
Therapy is an option, gentlemen.

You can believe zero data on positive economic indicators, but still have no choice but to face the fact that the economy has been booming for the past 2 years. 1) interest rates are staying higher for longer 2) high treasury yields 3) seeing how crazy busy restaurants and airports are.

2/ What if Millennials are doing better than previous generations but the higher expectations (and the top 1%) are making them feel like they are doing worse? And, yes, before I get beaten down, housing and college costs were and are very real problems.

1/ My friends and I are stunned by this passage and this chart from two difft WSJ articles. What if? Now hear me out. What if the Millenn’s conception of the American Dream of past generations is massively inflated. Think about how your parents and g’parents lived. It was a pretty humble existence.

This is coincidental bc every time I listen to The Boxer, I think it’s funny to assume the line is “Just a come-on from the horse on 7th Avenue.”

If you read about his story in the WSJ this morning, it’s actually pretty sad. The guy clearly had a break with reality. His actions in the last year aren’t of those with a sound mind. It was a vicious and immoral act, of course, but it doesn’t make his story less depressing.
