The propaganda is working. Fox News and all of it. They repeat the phrases over and over.

She misspelled thumb. How are these people in charge? Goddamn

It’s a sweeping wipe out of all of our supports. And they were already meager. Then if they go after ssdi we will be putting people out on the streets. They have talked about bringing back institutions. Maybe this is their plan, privatized of course. Numerous jobs lost too.

Medicaid pays for my son’s day program in Chicago. The employers there as well as the people served would all be screwed if this does go through. And with zero explanation or justification. Disability is not a red or blue issue and we already don’t fund it properly.

Congratulations!

I thought it was a drawing. So beautiful and haunting.

It’s hard to reconcile the fact that if you fight in one front they make headway on another. I’m just trying to comfort myself in knowing we will fight what we can and reverse what we can when we hopefully regain some power. In the meantime be kind to yourself and others.

I completely understand. Mine are never out for long, because they get so barky and I hate for them to be annoying, but not everyone sees it that way. Some people just think they can throw them outside and then not walk or socialize them. Not cool.

That’s a good point. I don’t say African American casually but if I wrote a paper I’d use it. I don’t think Latinx is used by the vast majority of Latinos which is why I don’t use it. It’s more a matter of choosing to damn the other terms as offensive. Is homeless really a problematic word?

Without question.

So where’s Columbia house then? It’s not a big CD warehouse in bogota that I never paid for?

I’ve always had a strong hatred of her for no reason I could ever give, but her playing the inauguration was a gift for me to hate her more. She’s just got a bitch sorority mean girl energy.

I just rediscovered the violent femmes. They are so good it’s crazy and great guitar solos. Probably not an out of box rec, but that’s what I’m into right now.

🤔 I can’t really see why that’s a bad thing to say, but I’ve never been the recipient

Mine bark when people pass by, but I know it’s because they want them to come pet them and hang out not because they’re trying to scare them away 😂

I’d put a limit on how much cacao can be in dark chocolate. More than 70 percent is madness.

Is your mom also my mom? I’m Glad she’s doing better. Good wishes for her for a speedy recovery.

There’s some talent you’re born with especially for a singer or an athlete but regardless you have to train to use it. I could never train enough to be a good singer because I simply don’t have a very good singing voice. I could maybe become competent, likewise sports.

Here’s a passive aggressive bed war.

This is what I find so shocking, it’s so easy to see the struggle and put myself in that position. I’d have to be in very very dire straits to do that. It’s not some whim that these people risk everything to survive and hopefully find a better life.

Hugo says hello! Button is such a cutie, I want a black pug for my next new family member.

That’s real money. Damn. And those who make that and didn’t vote for Trump get fucked too. It’s just so unfair.

Congratulations! We are lucky to have you and I’m sorry for the loss of your home country. You are welcome here, despite the current atmosphere.

Isn’t it tho? I was so glad it stayed that way from when he was born. His mum has it too. Pugs are the best.

Did Greenland make fun of him at a White House dinner? What’s his boner about Greenland? Still keep trying to interpret this fixation,

I do think it’s short sighted except ruthlessness and brilliance have a funny overlap. They always deem to profit off the wreckage.

It’s the model that George Pullman had. Pullman schools, Pullman row houses for rent. All living in the town of Pullman. He was buried under six feet of concrete.

That’s a good point. Hopefully they don’t have plans lined up already but regardless it would be hard to do without immigrant labor.

It’s about the prison industrial complex profiting. They find ways to extract money from the families and inmates in these privatized prisons. They also don’t care if it costs tax payer dollars to lock them up. It’s usually more than it is to educate and give healthcare

We like the occasional flow state of drawing we get in. We’re chasing that high even though it doesn’t happen most of the time. In the meantime we improve.

I like it, maybe some slight color bits that are warmer in the light blue streak to give it volume. Depending of course on your foreground. Just a suggestion and in no way a criticism:)

I believe so. They are always ten cruel steps ahead. They’ll probable restart religious care homes for the kids who are left behind but are citizens. Or they’ll be adopted by evangelicals. They will profit and exploit every step.

This I my biggest fear, that the real plan is to imprison them.

So I drink more coffee which is not exactly hydrating to quench my thirst. Starting with water makes me so much less jittery, and yet I don’t do it most days

It’s been so good. Have you listened to the podcast? It really helps explore the details you miss. I’m kind of obsessive nerding about it.

It’s a big world, in all likelihood someone is having similar ideas to yours. There’s no authority judging so no need to worry.

It’s also going to deter them from going to school. It’s so bad on so many levels. They’re coming at us in Chicago trying to get locals to back them.
comment in response to post
It’s definitely something they are trying to scare us with. They are pushing back at all the boundaries we have so they can terrify undocumented people into submission.

And drinking two glasses of water right away unfortunately does the same. Yet I cannot do this consistently for some reason.

I don’t know how to gouache. It’s not watercolor and it’s not acrylic. It’s mud when I do it
