You act like this isn't a dictatorship of capital (a capitalist oligarchy) and the people have a meaningful choice via the electoral system.
comment in response to post
That implies voters still trust Democrats. We're decades into a pattern of Democrats saying "We'll make improvements to society." followed by them collaborating on neoliberal austerity gutting of public goods.

I get what your going for here, but I can't see a person who likes sandwiches subjecting themselves to subway.

Okay. Well you're boring. I get that Trump is bad and lies a lot. But the available evidence suggests Zelensky is lying about events on the ground, a practice he generally engages in. Bye.
comment in response to post
Wow. They just allow people to slander you on here like that?
comment in response to post
Neither Trump nor Zelensky is credible. What is credible is cross referenced data/reports from the front lines and geolocated footage. You can choose to live in a propaganda fantasy but the truth is at your fingertips.
comment in response to post
Zelensky is not credible any more than Trump is. There's accurate open source info that shows part of the front collapsed after Russia did a commando raid through an inactive gas pipeline. www.cnn.com/2025/03/09/e...

You could just follow the various accurate osint mappers who make it pretty clear Ukraine was tactically encircled for weeks and then parts of the line quickly collapsed. There are likely dozens to hundreds trapped behind the collapsed front. Syrskyi foolishly keeps troops in tactical encirclements.

Zelensky lies about things like this frequently. Ukraine had to evacuate several parts of the front around Soudza quickly and it is quite likely several hundred troops didn't make it out. Syrskyi kept troops there for weeks too long when they were tactically encircled.
comment in response to post
Oh. Yes. It must be the Ukrainian propaganda accounts that are correct.

What do you do for a living? I scam columnist Charlotte Cowles two to four times a year.

I don't think EU is adapted for modern warfare. Russia is a peer in terms of most platforms and is ahead on EW, AD and hypersonics. Tanks are outclassed by drones. Naval power is outclassed by ballistic missiles and marine drones. EU rampup will require unpopular austerity.
comment in response to post
Both are just shell corporations for the capitalist class.
comment in response to post
I did? I was wondering where I put that stuff. Anyway, collapsing the Russian state is total cope. They already got Gorby/Yeltsin’ed once. It's not going to happen again. The US and EU are more likely to balkanize first.

Too soon.

Brian Schatz the bed again.

I was simply pointing out that they do in fact know how to use power they just choose not to. I think it's a pretty important distinction, actually. Sorry it came across as a lecture.

The reason Democrats lose is because they are a capitalist party who refuse to make material improvements to society through beneficial public policies because their owners oppose those policies. Everything else is window dressing.

UK definitely did shoot itself in the foot. One of few countries that truly benefitted from the EU.

Look under your seats. You get Milei. And you get Milei.
comment in response to post
You aren't allowed to criticize the royalty of the monarchist Democrat party. I didn't make the rules. 🤷
comment in response to post
They joined because they thought it was a mutually beneficial trade agreement. I think eventually many will leave. UK left and they had the best deal out of all the members. Lots of countries get screwed though. Greece got fucked bad as do most of the Warsaw Pact members.

The EU is a mechanism to subordinate Europe into a federal state that benefits the power centers. They want to create an army now and push an agenda most Europeans aren't on board with. Under the guise of a trade agreement. It's a scam for benefit of the European bourgeois.
comment in response to post
It's a neocolonial project that benefits France and Germany at the expense of the rest of the Eurozone.
comment in response to post
They're literally trying to strip Hungary of voting rights. It's a largely unaccountable oligarchy sitting on top of Europe as a federal superstate under the guise of a trade agreement.
comment in response to post
The EU is just as autocratic as Hungary or Russia. Look at how they treat anti-genocide protesters across the Eurozone. Look how they interfere in the political affairs of Georgia, Romania, etc...
comment in response to post
I'm pretty sure you're wrong on that. Russia has been out producing all of NATO this whole time and has a fully ramped up MIC and they lack the EU's energy issues.
comment in response to post
Going for that George Takei retweet eh?
comment in response to post
You must have missed the 2020 primaries. The Democrats are a capitalist class collaborator party whose primary objective is to co-opt, subvert and dismantle left movements. And they operate with ruthless efficiency in service of that goal.
comment in response to post
Trump "doesn't have the cards" to bully Russia into unfavorable terms. Russia is making maximalist demands because they're winning and they want to fully resolve the underlying geopolitical issues.
comment in response to post
You people think this is some kind of video game. EU has no industrial base.
comment in response to post
He's a propagandist who made his bones lying about the USSR. Not really a good source for anything accurate.
comment in response to post
Why not demand a unicorn too.
comment in response to post
You're buying this propagandandist repeating Ukrainian MoD bullshit. There's plenty of plenty of people out there who aggregate geolocations and other open source intel. Sorry to break it to you but Kursk is a bleak situation for UA.
comment in response to post
All the most reputable osint mappers agree that Ukraine has been at least in a tactical encirclement for several days. Ukrainian MoD isn't credible.
comment in response to post
You did the nicotine gum bit so I don't see why not.
comment in response to post
I'd say Democrats are useless cowards but that would obfuscate how they're duplicitous collaborators.
comment in response to post
I would have thought Ted was more of a cyber truck kind of guy.

Obama only crawls out of his wine cave to suppress left activism and provide cover for the capitalist oligarchy.
comment in response to post
Sometimes people need a dose of reality. There's no reason to let this place be a liberal echo chamber.
comment in response to post
Nah. They're just a collaborator party.

The farther left your politics, the earlier you can call out impending disasters of capitalism and the more vociferously people will malign you for it.

Collaborator
comment in response to post
He's a collaborator, is what he is. Like he's always been.
comment in response to post
That was the life blood of the EU's cratering industrial base.

The writing was on the wall when the last administration wantonly supported genocide for 15 months. It was pretty clear Trump was going to do a Milei and the Democrats just laid out the red carpet for him.
