Sometimes there's so much ugliness in the world, I feel like I can't take it, like my heart is just going to cave in.

I’ll take two Greenlands, one Gaza, one Canada and a Panama Canal shake pls.

She is speaking to my soul…

🗞️As an old newspaperman, this Mark Twain adage is ringing a bell this morning: "Never pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel." 🗞️The Atlantic is handling these inept, lying enemies of the people with the truth ... and nothing but the truth.

Sounds like Hegseth and Waltz should be fired then

Oh god. They want to turn the Kennedy Center into Branson…

Few things make me livid when I see them online seeing parents proudly say they have no regrets after letting their child die of measles, a fully preventable disease, I lose it for a bit. That’s child neglect. CPS has taken Black kids for far less, and it’s infuriating to watch this go unchecked.

So cool they're celebrating women's history month.

Good news out of Colorado! A Federal judge orders Colorado district to return banned books to school libraries. Good work! www.denverpost.com/2025/03/19/e...

"We shall bite on the beaches, we shall bite on the landing grounds, we shall bite in the fields and in the streets, we shall bite in the hills; we shall never surrender!"

The reason I do what I do? I know the DNC can't fund every rural Democrat...but I want to. I am the Executive Director of Blue Missouri and we are the only organization who sends money to down-ballot, rural Dems. We don't just "endorse" them. We fund them. You can join us! bluemissouri.org

Several weeks ago, with the help of Cat 1 and Cat 2, I made the ultimate calming GIF to use this Sunday morning. Please share with anyone in mental distress. It is not to be used by Blades, for they must suffer for their crimes!! #SWFC #WAWAW

Me to myself: This is annoying. This conversation is annoying, this person is annoying. I hope I’m hiding it well. My face:

FRIDAY - MARCH 14, 2025 Mercury Goes into Retrograde This occurs three or four times per year. Just often enough to blame the planet instead of yourself when things go wrong in your life.

Ten years ago if you had written a dystopian SF story in which the person in charge of U.S. public health did a press event at a fast food joint to say that fried food is good but measles vaccines cause measles the ghost of Philip K. Dick would have said that you were being too bleak and unrealistic

No amount of letter writing has persuaded my lawmakers, but one thing has slowed them down: Showing up in numbers that can’t be hidden or explained away. Marching in the streets. Testifying by the hundreds. Letting lawmakers know we see them and we know. open.substack.com/pub/jesspipe...

My 12 yr old son just sent me this . His friends sent it to him . It’s quite an achievement to piss off and have a nations children ridicule you .

French Senator Claude Malhuret: "Washington has become Nero’s court, with an incendiary emperor, submissive courtiers and a jester high on ketamine... We were at war with a dictator, we are now at war with a dictator backed by a traitor."

Dems look like they're bidding on fascism at a silent auction

Trump is not just betraying the brave people of Ukraine and our European allies--although he is certainly doing that. He is also betraying the people of the United States and his oath of office. Defending Ukraine and repulsing Russian aggression is critical to US interests.

Oh boy. Florida you are fucked! www.axios.com/2025/03/03/d...

John Oliver Does Not Think Trump and Vance's Zelensky Ambush Was “Great Television”: On Last Week Tonight, the host railed against Trump and Vance, calling their berating of the Ukrainian president “awful.": "He’s a president in the middle of a war, not a toddler opening a present from Meemaw.”

Guess who warned everyone?

These days I’m taking my Ativan early 🤯

Heart pounding in my ears, I run, the muted sound of webbed feet slapping the pavement behind me. I dive into the car and slam the door, shouting in triumph. Turning the key, I am rewarded with nothing but a single dry click. My blood runs cold. From outside the window, I hear a dark, throaty laugh.
