The ones in my area only ever play the Colonel Bogey March. It's quite jarring to be outside and suddenly hear the ""Hitler Has Only Got One Ball" tune.

Yikes. This is a hell of a thing to leave a permanent record of having said on the internet.

Looks like they're trying to intimidate the fire.

But that would be almost all the crime!

I swear in all my google searches now. AI doesn't like bad words.

She was in a recent accident and believed she had four days to live. She said she was ready to go. Then she survived. No one can begin to understand the complicated emotions she must've been experiencing. Not everything has to be a conspiracy... Sometimes it's just sad.

That's a very sweet review, I was smiling as I read it. I'm so happy for you! :D

Heyyyy, that's my name! (almost.)

I thought this happened a few years ago. Unless that was the other one.

I'm 27, and simultaneously feel the worst parts of being 30, and being 12.

Maybe you're right, It'd be preferable if so. I've spent so many years watching (and being part of) the queer community reaching out, trying to educate and yes, make progress, only for it to be ripped away by hate fuelled by individuals. I don't have much faith in the high road left. Just anger.

Usually I'd agree, but let's focus on trans genocide before we focus on language. Hope you can understand a derogatory word isn't a thing many are going to care about atm. Rude names is probably the worst thing she's likely to experience foreseeably. It's not comparable to the damage she causes.

Not to mention she's going after ace people now as well. She's expanding her hate because of positive feedback from horrible people. I can't imagine seeing that and thinking "that will never be me!"

They probably talked to more than one human that day!

Sure. Not what this post is about though. Time and place.

Also, it's been such a nightmare to cast (since no one- whether they agree with her or not- wants to be publicly associated with her) it took years for the first name to be revealed, and she had to relent on her 'no Americans playing Brits' rule.

Those books were definitely great for their time, and my mind was blown just a couple years ago the moment I realised "wait a sec... Gay people _exist_ in this book?" But it has to be said there's a lot of stuff that made me (gay guy) uncomfortable. There's a LOT of SA/harassment.

It's not even the money that bothers me most. I just hate how _that_ series has become a cornerstone of pop culture. Something gleefully referenced everywhere because 'eyyy we all know this thing!' I'd love it if we could let it fade into the background like everything else eventually does.

I'm getting flashbacks to 'Heil Honey, I'm Home.'

At first I had the impression you were a relatively young person seeing something trans related for the first time, and were confused. Now I see you were just looking for a fight. Well, I'm out, bye. My apologies to anyone who ended up with unwanted notifications. (Not you.)

You're right! Good thing trans women are women.

Lmao, it's illegal to just decide not to buy something? I guess that explains some of his dumb decisions.

Considering it's a piece for International Womens' day, it's far more likely they are trans women. You don't have to like or agree with a piece of art, but it's very rude to call someone's art weird because it doesn't align with your worldview.

There seems to be at least one trans woman. I really hope we can just not go there.

Simple- he just has to persuade the couch to take the lead.

Picrews, character creation screens, hero forge... All good stuff! I can get behind normalising this.

You're not wrong in your stance and I won't argue against it. There are other places for my anger right now. I can't bring myself to be mad at anyone trying to do something, even if it's not in the right way.

To be clear- I am trans. Trust me, I know. It does infuriate me when trans people are dehumanised, but I really don't care when crappy people get the same as a response. That's a me-specific thing, and I don't claim it's good. I just don't have the energy to take the high road every time anymore.

It upsets them. Unfortunately it's the only language they speak.

CF and Kyo are actually German! But your point stands. Also as a Brit I have to admit the descriptions are v much in the spirit of dry Brit humour. Hope no one's too upset.

Which one?

Well, now I feel a little reassured for finding the book REALLY CONFUSING when I was a kid.

It's not. From what I remember, the order stated that a woman is "someone who at conception, produces the large reproductive cell." All humans follow a phenotypically female development path unless/until the SRY gene kicks in at 6 weeks. Which is very much not conception.
