Below is phenomenal and criminally slept-on.

Saw them live a couple weeks ago. Can still feel the bass tone in my loins. Terrific band.

One of the greatest moments in all of cinema history that lives in my head everyday.

Maybe my favorite Bogart performance.

WTF!?!?!

'Rebel Ridge' was excellent, and some of the animated offerings (Castlevania, Terminator: Zero) are stellar, as well. That's far from adequate enough to justify the ever increasing monthly fee. The fact that they could've made 10 'Rebel Ridge's for what this slop cost is a hate crime.

I feel obligated to mention this anytime a "Most underrated movie" discussion erupts because it is exactly that.

I finally quit Netflix a few months ago, and I don't miss a thing about it. I would just scroll through hundreds of offerings just like this before giving up. Sad that a service that used to deliver a catalog of basically every movie ever is now this. Enshitification is real.

Watching Draymond's team beat KAT's team is pretty cool, too.

Coffee enthusiast, eh? Never would have guessed.

Terrible waste of such a great surname on a certified Karen. She should be hosting a Creature Feature show. Instead, we get this shit.

Rare stuff still exists on the cheap, you just have to look harder, and that makes that rare find even more special.

Preach. Radical is not a dirty word. We tried it this way for 250 years. Shit ain't working. Tear it down and start over.

It may have started a little earlier than that, but Godzilla and Jar Jar certainly do make for some very appropriate harbingers of doom.
comment in response to post
The late 90's was absurd. The amount of Godzilla and Jar Jar crap we were assaulted with was staggering.

Came here to say that. That shit was like the moon landing with merch.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs needle drop *chef's kiss*.

I've never been to a screening at the Academy Museum, but I'm assuming that some of those in attendance are very serious film people, unlike an AMC where people roll up in pajamas and carrying blankets like it's a sleepover. While this person was a bit out of line, you always gotta read the room.

That (literal) needle drop gave me chills.

Fuckin' aye

The (literal) needle drop on the Yeah Yeah Yeahs song added an extra star for me. But, I'd also watch Anya Taylor Joy read a Cheesecake Factory menu , so maybe I'm biased.

Wow. I haven't thought about 'Office Killer' in a long time. Thanks for the reminder.

Need more AmRep artists in my daily rotation. This rules.

I used to live around the corner. That would have been a godsend back then. Bought a padlock for my UHaul at that Rite Aid on my way out of town and ran into Anna Paquin. True story.

Glad you liked it. It's a Top 5 or 10, depending on the day, for me. It's just hypnotically perfect.

Taking pictures of flowers is like therapy to me. Can't explain it, but it's just super satisfying.

Can't even imagine how good that show was.

A 3 to 4 X a year comfort movie for me. Love it.

Somebody asked me once what I meant when I said "liminal," and I said, "That which is neither here nor there." I still like that.

The only two I can think that are even close are Godfather II and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.

Me too (and me neither).

Since KEXP started broadcasting in the Bay Area, my world has opened up to so much incredible new music. I'm 48 and still listen to terrestrial radio in my car. KEXP has been a godsend. Check them out online. Real people with great taste curating tunes the old-fashioned way.
