Does JD Vance even make it to third? Seems like there are other good candidates - Hegseth, Patel, etc

Was this sent by ‘advisor’ Musk or ‘Special government employee’ Musk or national security threat Musk? Can he send emails to all employees without being explicitly employed by the government? This has become immeasurably difficult to understand how this could happen.

Is Trump losing his usual collection of sycophantic media outlets? A couple of recent incidents, including this front page, is making me wonder if there is a real drop in support that they are aware of?

And it will be manned by a sizeable number of MAGAts, who will have finally crashed and realized that they have been lied to by Trump for 10 years. And they’ll be the fiercest people just like any converts.

His current proximity to power has gone to his head and blown up his massive ego and narcissism. Gets most of the power of the presidency and still protects his own businesses.

There is a pattern: 1. Do something stupid 2. Be told that something was wrong and needed to be corrected to overcome the problems it created. 3. Claim to be working to rectify the situation 4. Deny any responsibility for the original stupid decision. 5. Rinse 6. Repeat behaviour on another topic.

He will never recognize his own hypocrisy. Like Trump, narcissists are never wrong in their own minds and in public.

Are you sure he’s smart enough to realize that there are other languages?

Or listened to any music for over 30 years

These guys seem to spend too much time looking in mirrors, both literally and figuratively. They watch too many movies/TV where they’re always shown as heroes arriving at the last minute.

No surprise, remember: Good spending - benefits me Bad spending - does not benefit me. And ever shall it be for conservative people.

Considering some (most) of the appointments, it’s a bit of a surprise that she didn’t get one.

Because greed trumps all, especially for the one with inside access having purchased himself a president.

Also need the 25th or equivalent for President Musk. He’s just as bad, if not worse, than Assistant President Trump.
comment in response to post
You may never know what the first or the worst (could be the same) because of the nature of intelligence work. But that doesn’t mean it won’t happen.

This can’t surprise anyone. A collection of inexperienced kids led by a self appointed narcissistic guy who seems to want as small a government as possible so there’s more money for his companies. Altogether, they know nothing about the structure of government and are proving it with their actions.

Never forget: Good spending - that which benefits me Bad spending - that which doesn’t benefit me. Elon doesn’t need Medicaid Trump doesn’t need his MAGA voters anymore. Bannon still seems to think it’s a political issue. It’s not anymore. It’s the abandonment of the US constitution and ideals.

Maybe he meant one day, and that one day is in January, 2029

Don’t forget human shield. Or at least as close to human as you get with Musk DNA
comment in response to post
Arguably the least surprising action that he’s taken so far

Can we be sure that the boy is not a bot? And he’s gathering intelligence inside for future sale?

I don’t think they’ll risk it in case it didn’t mean that guns should be given out like Halloween candy.
comment in response to post
I think you may be right.
comment in response to post
I think that even Trump knows that eventually he can get rid of Elon by painting him as the bad guy. And the MAGAts will eat it up.
comment in response to post
What’s the constitutional definition of his position? I don’t recall a purchaser of the presidency being mentioned.
comment in response to post
Sorta … but at least Cheney was elected to be VP. Didn’t show up fairly late and buy his way in.
comment in response to post
Bring them down to his own standards and then beat them with experience.
comment in response to post
Efficient - money spent on me Inefficient - money spent on anyone else Pretty much standard operating procedure for conservatives

And left at halftime. Now I wonder why that would be?

Well … ETTD amirite?

Get official to declare them winner

Maybe but it gets him out of Elon’s way for awhile. Lookout for the next few days of announcements.

Because it’s hard to hide the money for your government funded businesses if someone sees you do it.

Self awareness is not his strength.

Won’t that take moving to alternate universe #4. Universes 2 & 3 just don’t get there.

Not fair to Matt Berry

A few posts before this one, the author used a word - agnorant. Combining ignorance with arrogance. She personifies it.

A slang term for Dunning-Kruger, isn’t it? I like it.
comment in response to post
Why would he possibly want to talk to someone who knows what he’s doing? Especially with the current crop of unqualified nitwits around him.
comment in response to post
Imagine being the world’s biggest and most complete ignoramous and thinking that you should be in charge of anything that might be called ‘the golden age the arts’. A total buffoon.

Amazing how this ‘detail’ is so often overlooked. Short memories and willful blindness.

Voting against one’s own best interests is becoming an American tradition

But will it matter to her in the end? History says no.

Seems like a good swap

Are there any arguments against this assessment?
comment in response to post
There might be some validity in that if you weren’t being asked to support such disgusting and unconstitutional and wackiest actions.

That picture is more than a little scary

Based on his petulant rant : if the US has so much of everything, why don’t their citizens buy it?
