It’s a catch-22 for them. Musk says “reply or you’re fired.” Patel says “don’t reply.” Now they can fire anyone they want and claim it was for violating one or the other orders. Fascism constantly put out contradictory orders like this so that honest and good faith workers can be replaced with Nazis

Right? I guess I technically defended my apartment in Los Angeles on 9/11. Looks like I’m “qualified” to run the joint chiefs, too!

Looks like a phishing scam. Better report it.

I keep waiting for the gov of Maryland to deploy the national guard to protect federal workers who were illegally fired while they go to the jobs they legally still have.

Why would the fascists fill the void when the void achieves their goal of harming everyday people?

Those dissenting votes are virtue signaling to fool low information voters.

I love kicking fascists when they’re down.

People who don’t understand the mindset of a scientist think adjusting one’s positions based upon careful scrutiny is somehow “cheating.”

NPR, you need to start calling treason treason and Nazis Nazis before they solidify their power and decide to line serious reporters against a wall.
Stop pretending this is a surprise.
We all know what Trump is, and your feigned shock makes you complicit in the death of America.

These same cowards would vote in a heartbeat to send our soldiers to die for a country they wouldn’t even vote to save.

If just half those people voted we wouldn’t be in this mess.

People who suggest compromise in the face of annihilation strike me as the most privileged of the privileged. They have never faced an existential threat and have no understanding of the courage shown every day by those who have, simply by existing.

I celebrate the removal of our brutal authoritarian regime. We started shipping migrants to our gitmo concentration camp today. We don’t deserve to lecture others on human rights. Not with Republicans in power.

Evacuation Protip: grab your dirty clothes hamper. It’s already packed full of seasonally appropriate clothes you like and it’s already full outfits. Also you’re gonna stink in a few days or evacuee living anyway so /shrug.

Because logging out of the account just to hop in for 5 minutes and help someone is inefficient when you could just toggle a single popdown menu.

Press = “prefs” + autocorrect. Bsky needs an edit button.

Even after you choose your press in Avid, you still have workspace prefs you can choose or set separately, as well as timeline prefs. I’ve got different setups saved for editing, footage review, coloring, audio review, and so forth.

I mean... *some* of us will survive Trump. 1.2 million Americans died last time he was president. Survival is not a foregone conclusion.

No way. I’ll take at least half of these jerkoffs over whatever the Platonic ideal of a mosquito is any day. You know what? More than half. 72%.

The secret, I feel, is the granularity of detail. When people ask me if I know magic, I don’t say “well I can summon demons but I’m shite at lay lines.” I just say “yes I’m a goddamn wizard.”
Tech works the same way. Don’t explain it. If your iodized tachyon entangler pulses light years, that’s ok.

I’m sorry you’re catching such flak. The Los Angeles subreddit has been really helpful to me if you’re still in need of information. Lots of great links and resources.

The real question is: why did we abandon the original dark mode with orange and dark mode with green? Lode Runner but not green is worse. That’s a fact.
