Women are largely supportive of men Why do Men see women as a threat? SHE must be taking something Some men don’t want to do the WORK of contributing toThe Public Good Or so it seems “Thank You for Your Service” must be a two-way street where the value of each person’s contribution matters

Tariffs are a tax Sellers increase prices to cover increased costs which include any tariffs imposed Consumers pay the increased costs and pay taxes on the total costs Aren’t consumers paying a tax on a tax? Won’t Consumers suffer?

Disappointing that Democrats don’t act more forcefully! Democrats are more apt to be disappointed in an outcome because they expect more from other voters—a higher bar. Republican Selfishness is the stronger, more personally urgent, motive. Republicans get ANGRY & fight!

Democrats care for the Common Good Republicans selfishly work for themselves

Teaching for NO compensation was true since the 1960’s—nurses, teachers, social workers, predominantly female occupations are expected to donate their time, reject other employment, & borrow/use savings to pay rent/expenses during the apprenticeship. Any predominantly male professions pay zero?

Did they also count the taxes that must be paid on top of the tariff—taxes on the tariff itself? Bet they forgot to add the additional tax.

But wait! Your cost is NOT $75, Your cost is 75 + TAX! The consumer gets ripped off again! Why is no one adding the tax?

Anyone have firsthand knowledge of a long term care policy that paid off anything close to the total of the premiums that went into it? Serious question. In our experience the LTC insurance co always escapes paying-the company writes the policy in such a way that statistics are on their side.

Has anyone thought to consider that the consumer not only pays the tariff but also the taxes on the increased cost of the product? In your example, one would probably pay taxes on $120, rather than on the $100 original price of the shoes. The tariff becomes more regressive.
