I heard from quite a few federal employees as the OPM deferred resignation offer deadline hits. It's probably illegal, probably won't work, and is still not really clear in its mechanics anyway. Very, very few of them are even considering it. "Most of us see right through this."

I remember having arguments--even with fellow Arab Americans--about their reticence to vote for Harris because of Biden's policies in Gaza.
