Dreaming 2050 might be less dystopian than 2025.

Is standing up to the fall of democracy and the destruction of centries' old alliances a left wing thing though?

Has someone launched a crowdfunding campaign to secure funds directly from the American people to Ukraine after the Oval Bullying Incident?

Pour aller au bout du malaise, l'entrevue de Zelesky sur la Fox, avec le panel d'analyste dans la foulée est une belle hallucination dystopique aussi. Sauf que bah c'est le réel.

It feels like blocking the economy through massive strikes isn't an option in your mind. Isn't the right to go on strike protected in the US ? How all federal workers aren't on strike yet is hard to comprehend for me.

I'm thinking about all the lgbtq+ people losing rights day after day, immigrants, women. Are you thinking of acting when a target low popularity percentage is reached ? I understand. What if it doesn't happen ? I was always a "let's wait for the right moment", to each their shifting moment I guess

I wish I could automate repost of this every 24h on my account to make sure even the people in the back get a chance to process this.

You'll get there eventually, or make up your own way to fight back. US history is filled with people who disobeyed. Sit where you shouldn't sit, make revolutionary music or raise your fist, many Americans marked history. The world is looking at the US people with cheerful eyes. You got this 🤘

We do but they are not in power. Our most successful social movements have been very grassroot. The US has a great history of successful grassroot movements shaping the society too. You got this guys 💚

Always surprised to see how many people mention the French as an inspiration. As a French, I guarantee it isn't too difficult & doesn't require a huge investment of time. Offer friends to join you for a good walk outside on each strike day. It's good for health and catching up with friends :D

Being in a cult-like movement doesn't make you instantly able to murder people. I'm just saying you should go on strike and take action, people reply: we can't, they will kill us. Just go on strike and take action, some will need a lawyer, pay their fees, you'll be fine. Fear is how they pacify you.

I might have a distorted understanding of the situation, I don't think 36% of US voters are killers. Demonizing the enemy contributes to putting them on a pedestal, no? Most are just regular people, they grew up where you grew up, they sit at your table for family gatherings, etc.

I understand the fanatical base can be a major issue in a country with a lot of guns in circulation. I get that T might even be hoping for these kind of actions to leverage it. But the longer you wait, the more crazy things will be normalized, the more laws will be against you, etc.

Anyway, if you'd rather do something less risky, there are tons of safer ways to protest, it's all complimentary, that's the beauty of it. I myself don't feel very comfortable with violent action, so I contribute in other ways. We are all just one team, with different ways to act.

You're just making sure the poor can eat. Just don't have people leaving with anything else but food so the images look nice on social media :)

About "shoplifting": I wouldn't call it shoplifting if you go to Walmart with 50 people and a proper way to link your action to ehat you fight for, and tell everybody to exit the store with whatever they have in their carts. People won't complain, and... it's Walmart they will be fine.

Resisting against the nazis was illegal, occupying the factories during strikes was illegal, all of it was risky. Not doing anything risky seems more risky though, doesn't it?

Our justice system is broken too, we just keep going. Don't give up and embrace your step count going up, demonstration after demonstration! Show up at every rally, graffiti the walls of your neighborhood if you are ok with that, talk to more radical people than you.

We do also have an amazing system where if you ask people to give money to pay for lawyer bills after being arrested at a demonstration, people will give money, even if unsure if it's legit and where it goes.

We also have a crowdsourced and crowd funded media dedicated to tracking and exposing them. Maybe they are proudly rolling over someone on a Saturday demonstration, how do their boss feel about it when they find out they employ violent people?
comment in response to post
Far right has always been coming for us. We have patrols locating them when hanging out around our demonstrations, we form groups of trained people whose only purpose is being there when they will attack the peaceful protesters. We don't ever leave demonstrations alone, always in groups.

We deal with militarized police too, make sure you all dress and look like anybody's mom, uncle, teacher, kid, and film their intervention. Read about how a clown army was the one who defeated all cops in Seattle.

As a French person. Yes, get on strike and take the streets. Block the key industrial infrastructure, go to stores and make people shop for free. This seems intense but we do it very often in France, it works. It's fun, you'll see.

Thinking of creating a new religion, only for myself, to go through the next 4 years. Gathering inspiration from all other religions and startup youtubers atm. I start on Monday, with turning the lights of while washing my face with mustard before I turn the radio on.

For those unaware, in 1933, the first major Nazi book burning was of the first 30 years of research into trans and queer people, far before the concentration camps. Now, Trump has digitally burned the government's research on the same. hmd.org.uk/resource/6-m...
